It's easy to understand the exuberance of the family of a young professional footballer, who has secured a deal after months of uncertainty. It's natural, but perhaps unwise to splash it on social media.
Importantly, it seems that the information was released AFTER the player has/had finalised the deal, if the wording was accurate.
In that event, all talk of being gazumped is a waste of hot air. It's a done deal.
The club/player/agent are no doubt agreed on a time to make it public knowledge.
We'll all know one way or the other quite soon.

Midfield for me is an area where we still need quality and physicality and from what bits I've seen , and what I've read , this lad seems to tick boxes . However if h's not considered good enough and no del is likely , at least give us the facts of the case .

A midfield reinforcement, phew. We had Kelly and Brierley on the bench on Saturday. Now unlike some I like them both, but one of them is built like 14 year old while the other looks about 14. If your in front and the opposition are chasing it they are likely types, but if your trying to grind your way back into a game I think we need another option. Box to box sounds good. The club do a series called 'Getting to Know' or similar, where they ask different questions like favourite foods, favourite holidays, are you good at other sports, who do you support etc, so your wish has already been granted.

I don't see it as a huge issue, so long as its managed correctly.
In the interview with James Ball after Burton, he said along the lines of "...if Odoh keeps playing like that he won't be here much longer..."
We've always been a club for players to develop / prove themselves before being sold on at a profit... it just seems to be more of an 'open secret' at the minute. Its also precisely why I don't think we'll ever see anyone get close to Jonah for appearances or Hendo for goals ever again.
