We are quietly going about our business and focusing on what we do best. I am really liking this team at the moment. Should get additional momentum when Chair and Dieng get back as well.

Never knowingly understood

Never knowingly right.

FT REPORT
QPR 4 Reading 0
That result looks good and tastes good.
It's another good day at the office for an inspired Rangers team.
Yes it was against a very poor relegation-threatened side.
And Reading has the worst defence in the Championship.
But - as the old saying goes - you can only play what's in front of you.
And QPR were blisteringly good.
What a treat they delivered in front of 16,000 delighted fans.
Everything worked - from back to front - and front to back again.
Willock, Amos and Jojo overran their midfield.
Defence was solid with keeper Marshall - underlining what an astute signing he's been while Seny has been at the AFCON for Senegal.
Another great team effort - all playing for each other - great spirit in the squad.
Being greedy - shame we didn't score more and we had plenty of chances.
But three headed goals and an Amos special - after he hit the post for a second successive match.
That Amos goal was well deserved for a player who epitomises the club after two horrendous injuries.
So here's our goal tally having led 3-nil at HT.
1-0 Dykes header from another brilliant Willock cross (13 mins)
2-0 Dykes header (beautifully angled) from Uncle's cross (35 mins)
3-0 Amos - defending in his own penalty area - sprints the length of the pitch - receives a a nicely weighted pass from Willock (of course) and slams home from inside the box (37 mins)
4-0 Dunne unmarked heads in a Jojo corner (51 mins)
Amos, Wallace and Willock - replaced by Thomas, the on-loan Wolves defender Dion Sanderson and Charlie, all midway through the second half.
Sensible from Warbs.
Keep injury-prone Wallace and Amos fresh and make sure that Willock - so essential to our team - let's keep him wrapped-up in cotton wool.
And this keeps us in fourth spot - just 2 points behind second placed Blackburn with a game in hand (Blackburn held 0-0 at Luton).
We're one point behind third in the table Bournemouth - 1-0 winners at Barnsley.
We're now 6 points ahead of fifth, sixth and seventh placed West Brom (lost again), Middlesbrough (won) and Huddersfield.
We've won 5 and drawn 1 of our last 6 games.
We've Won 9, Drawn 2, Lost 2 of our last 13 Championship matches.
Next stop at Peterborough on Saturday in the FA Cup R4.
And if Morocco lose in the AFCON this Sunday - then hopefully Chair, who has just been warming the bench for his country - apart from a 31 minute group game - could be back to face Middlesbrough at home in 11 days time.
What a season.
Time for a cuppa!

Still half expecting Lblock’s annual thread on the potential relegation threat!

This is all starting to get a bit serious. Can't wait to see the highlights.

How did the new lad Sanderson get on?

Nah, we’re safe now. Personally I’m looking forward to hearing all the ways Boro and Forest can bump us out of the top 6.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Hoops v Loops match thread. on 17:18 - Jan 29 with 2028 viewsBoston

Surprising stat...we had 16 shots, Reading had 18.

Personally, I think the journo mistook a few crosses. for shots in that Reading figure.

Sanderson played well. His first challenge was a strong tackle and then immediately executed a nice pass.
I think he will be a real asset for us - strong in the tackle and very comfortable on the ball.
