Its not often a player is valued in 6 figures at the club, it puts the youth setup in the spotlight again which is what the club want tbh....
Dale are now bringing players through like crewe did 20 odd years ago and its the way to go, like somebody said its the clauses within the deal that the club benefit from in a couple of seasons and hopefully by then there are a few more gems in the spotlight of bigger cubs.... |  |

He has another year to go with his A-levels, and relocating to a different academy could be disruptive; this will bound to have been part of the discussions with Wolves. It'll be interesting to see if Luke can shed any light on this via his social media

I wouldn’t imagine they’ll send him out again. As 49th said, when he returns in summer he’ll only have 2 years left on his contract with them. All the noise from their end is that he’ll be pushing the first-team squad rather than a development player. |  | | |
