QPR Women 11:06 - Aug 26 with 2714 viewsrongould

On a very hot day my wife and I went to the other side of Brighton to watch QPR Women play Saltdean Women, in the Women's football equivalent of The Conference.

Very entertaining, but very much a work in progress.
Rangers took the lead with a pen. The scoring went...
0-1, 1-1,2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 3-3, 4-3, 4-4, 4-5 it was bloody hot ,did not envy the players

Typical Rangers though. We kicked off for the 2nd half at 2-2. We played it backwards, one missed pass, one shot and we are 3-2 down.

However our comebacks were good. Steve Q. and the staff worked well with the players.

Well worth watching and encouraging.
Give it a try if you have time.

We were well looked after by the players and staff.

I have a friend who plays for Saltdean Women, they have done extremely well considering they only started up two /three seasons ago, have jumped up 2/3 leagues and are now playing against clubs like QPR and Fulham. I always enjoy going and watching their games, everyone gets treated well, each team has good respect for eachother. Think I may go to the home game when they play eachother

Poll: Who would you most like to see at QPR?

It was certainly a game played in good spirit and with a lot of skill on both sides, especially considering the heat.

I was on the line for Actonians v AFC Wimbledon women yesterday - yes it WAS very hot!

Unfortunately a player got badly hurt and the game had to be abandoned just before we were due to go to extra time.
