Hench.

Didn’t even know of the word until yesterday until you used it.

I got "deus ex machina" as the answer to a crossword clue in the ST today. La Reborn was very impressed.

I’ve just asked my mother-in-law and she said her mum used to use the word scurryfunge

Am I going too far back?

What a great word though. It means to tidy the house quickly when you see a neighbour approaching. I just wouldn’t answer the door personally
