That's a pretty linear way of looking at it - once you account for interest the real cost was more like £110m, but they also make c.£2-£5m per event held at the stadium so if you took that as average on say 3 England games, 2 NFL games and 4 concerts per year they're more than in profit for the initial outlay

Noooooooooo, they'll then go to Twickenham rugby stadium and I'll have thousands of them fukkers in the area every couple of weeks for two bleedin' years not to mention the traffic chaos on the A316 especially for midweek games.

FWIW I believe the FA wont finish paying for the stadium until 2023 or 2024 something like that anyway they still owe over £130 million on it or did a while ago 
There were bitter disputes between the FA and the construction Company near the end resulting in LADS (Liquidated and Ascertained Damages) being levied against the contractor and of course counter claims against the FA.
Anyway whatever does anybody remember the smell of Dubbin? there was something about opening a tin of dubbin, smelling it and then putting it on your boots, kinda of made you think that you'd play better if you had dubbin on your boots which of course in my case had no affect at all on my playing ability.

It’s only sold out because the fans of every other nfl team buy tickets to see a game or two live.The home teams in the games seem to be at a disadvantage because there are less of their own fans at Wembley or Twickenham than there would be at their own stadiums.
How many fans could Jacksonville realistically pull in for every home game over here?The stadiums would be half empty every other week unless they gave loads of tickets away free or very cheaply. |  | | |
