I didn't post any. Hill used to be linked to a few jobs , he is obviously happy here and the board gave him a five year deal, presumably to put off other clubs, or at least ensuring compensation if he left. Not sure he would get any better job offers now. I think the club made an error, and obviously I can say that with the benefit of hindsight . Believe me, I would much rather we were doing well. Not an exact solution just an opinion based on the pros and cons financially too, id be inclined to stay with the current manager for a few reasons, thats assuming he can invest in the current squad urgently,initially thats providing his common sense finally exceeds his obvious arrogance...
Saying that theres no point in bringing anyone else in if the plans to then play them out of their natural position anyway..... |  | | |

Why have the club made an error? We are not relegated - there are lots of points to play for and I'm sure Hill will do his damdest to put this season right. Yes it's doom and gloom at the minute but it can all turn around with the addition of a couple of the right players. If all the fans gave up or turned on the Manager then we would be doomed - thankfully the majority of fans are more realistic. |  |

It was not 150k for madden. He does not get on with manager and Fleetwood knew that. I heard it’s 350k and crazy add ons. Might be wrong but I doubt it. Also heard he is going on near 250k basic plus bonus payments.

All will depend on if he produces Thacks.
IMO Fleetwood has little chance of promotion this season being 8 points plus a goal difference swing from 6th and given the teams currently above them but stranger things have happened.
However, their benefactor has a record of investing and moving players on quickly if they perform (i.e. Jamie Vardy) and he does have the balance sheet to take this as a balanced risk.
They're building for next season with this move. Madden will score goals at this level I believe. |  |

Why? I wouldn't want any other manager now and even more so if we happen to go back to league 2. Hill has been shown to be a genius at that level twice already - 4 times if you count play offs. He got Dawson and O'Grady from nowhere and transformed our team - likewise Lund and Hogan for the 2nd promotion. Who knows - he could have a couple of gems up his sleeve this January and it won't even come to relegation. | |

There's a loud minority who don't want to understand the reality.
Fleetwood have done very well in the past ten years on the back of being bankrolled by a wealthy chairman. We cannot compete with them in the transfer market while Mr rich man Pilling is in charge. For all Fleetwood have achieved though I personally think what KH has done for us in his time in charge is more impressive. | | | |
