Yup - player who had poor season doubles his value? I'm still a little confused why we haven't been more active in German and Spanish league with much better value. Maybe Baston disaster has scared our Board. We still need 3/4 players and and a few days to go, but our history of quality deals late in Summer is poor. Possibly but will it make them drop their value from £25m to £15m? Our wingers are pretty poor but I don't see us paying much more than £15m. If we'd have been more active earlier and not waited months to close the Siggy deal, we'd have for better, more creative players across Spain, France and Germany for £15m-£20m. | | | |
