And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

mmmmm Not to keen on white trainers PP, as i always imagine 'Begbie' from trainspotting wearing them.
With the sergios, is it a bit like pringle jumpers which used to be made in scotland in the 70's and 80's , but are now mass produced in a prisoner of war japanese world war 2 coughing box ?.
wtf do i know, i wear a pair of primarks ali bongo curly slippers for work..

I know what you mean about the white trainers DD but as soon as I put a pair on I have this urge to go bowling down the street , legs ten to 2, giving it some

Was a trainer nut for years with a particular penchant for Adidas - Forest Hills and Gazelles especially, but made the difficult decision when I hit 45 that;
a) I wouldn't wear trainers anymore, especially white b) I wouldn't wear jeans (probably worth a thread of its own)
Now, if it comes on top, my aim is to see off the other lot but look like Bryan Ferry while I'm doing so..

Best place to get you trainers from is 80s casual classics. Excellent range of old school trainers t shirts etc. I don't work for them by the way, just buy a lot of stuff from them

I HAVE A FEW fILA TOPS FROM THOSE BOYS. nICE OUTFIT. gOOD GEAR.
Worth looking at the Adidas site as they have regular clearance offers and you get 15% off the first order if you sign up for their newsletter.
Also free delivery for orders over £100 and free returns. My post lady thinks I've got a problem as another 7pairs arrived yesterday. The truth is the sizing is a bit unreliable so I order 2 sizes in each where they have the ones I want. They also do half sizes if you go direct and for our big foot they carry some monster sizes too.
Have some Hamburgs in Red, Rivera in beige and Gazelles in blue to try. I've been sporting some lovely Superstars in black and another in tan, gotta love an 80s shelltoe as you approach 50 and maintain a level of denial about the ageing process.
When is casual not casual is it all just retro now. At the time I don't think think Nike air was casual it was mainly Addidas which was initially a scousers thing. L block will be able to come to the boards aid on this one. I always liked Kickers which have enjoyed a bit of a revival.

See page one post three your honour
Kickers in beige camel suade -- my trotter cover of choice last few games. However not a trainer so cannot be considered in this particular area of wardrobe
I was talking about this thread yesterday and it sparked a sub chat over the various yoof movements I've been through. To everyone's shock and awe I suddenly remembered my B Boy phase of orange / blue adidas windsheeter and Hi-Tech basketball boots!! Doing my absolute best to be one of the three lads from Break Machine
By the way....can't make the game today, looking after the missus
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I am sticking my neck out here but trainers are called trainers because people train in them ? kickers were what shoes? Anyway that was a great look probably the last look generated by youth. I never quite graduated to deer stalkers but the attention to detail and regional differences were great. People bang on about FV but it was all about the holy trinity of football fashion and music. Back to trainers speaking as an elder statesman I prefera plain white Stan smith type trainer now but wouldn't have worn them back in the day.
