Citizen Kane's well-made but doesn't do it for me.
Gone With The Wind is a great film for it's time. Again, not for me.

Never seen a Rocky or a Harry Potter. Didn't watch a Rambo after seeing the first one. Never seen a Superman.
Sat through entire LotR series once for it's critical acclaim; They are incredibly well made but came across as condensed and superficial, a very long story being rushed through.
Seen all of the Star Wars except the last. Regretted all but the first two (ie, eps IV and V).
A few of the films confessed by some to have missed (Pulp Fiction, Chinatown, Godfathers I and II, Citizen Kane) are films that I would probably sit through again even if they told me I was going to die this time next week. [Post edited 11 Apr 2016 15:23]

I only ever watched the first film when it first came out. Never seen it since or any other of the 1000 over hyped sequels.
Any James Bond bore fest after Roger Moore's stint as 007 [and he was crap]. I avoid watching them on TV apart from the old Connery ones. Bond belonged to the 60's and should have remained there.
I've never watched Gone With the Wind the whole way through. Just bits and pieces when it shows up. But then frankly, I don't give a damn! |  |

I am with you on the Bond films. I haven't seen the current one and don't plan to. I'm not sure whether that is because the films themselves are dodgy or because they just don't stand comparison with the Bourne ones, which I think are excellent.
I've never seen "Withnail and I". Am I missing out?
