As good as O'Connell is, what purpose would it serve? He's exactly the same type of left-sided defender that McNulty is. I don't think it's a suitable partnership, much like the Eastham/Lancashire partnership didn't work. So would you drop Jim? If so you still have the Lancashire problem? I think if Brentford see our pitch they might be put off any loan. To be honest the amount of money they spent for no return so far, I cant see him being risked going anywhere. |  |
