Kodi getting on my threepennies........ 08:40 - Dec 13 with 24182 viewslegoman

Why does the latest "brilliant, must have" add-on last a.week then be pants thereafter? Kodi is really.peeing me off. All I want is to watch an illegal stream once a week. Comments?

(Mods feel free to move this thread to non football)

You paid £12 for something that I, and many others on here had for free.

I'm sure the time will come when we're going to have to go down the subscription route, but until that happens it's pointless paying for it.

If anything the streams have got better as this season has progressed, hopefully we can say that about the football being served up by the Swans from now on!

Pay for what you get ultimately innit. The subscription ones, generally, will have better support, better stream quality, less likely to be pulled etc. If these things are important to you then subs make sense. If you enjoy or are comfortable with hunting around etc then there's no need.

To be honest I'm usually in your boat but after a friend of mine got sportsmania I think they've converted me a little.

infusum.tv is the way to go lads, it does cost about 12 quid a month but i have had it for about a year now and it is faultless, you can have it for a 24hr free trial (not on a weekend though) just to have a look at it but it is very clean and easy to use.
i watched a few games over the weekend (swans included) and watched the boxing and ufc and it was bufferless,

anyone else on here already using it?

Not being funny but 12 quid a month you may as well just get sky innit.

Have you been using Phoenix at all this season? It's been superb. That failed on Saturday 3pm so a quick flick of the remote then you had Robocop or NJM with perfect feeds, (i'd like to say they are HD but i'm no expert), no hunting about once you know where to look. This is one of the reasons i like Wookie so much, there's so many sports addons already loaded up that it's all there at your fingertips.

As i said though, i've no doubt whatsoever that i'll have to get subscription at some point, but until that happens then to me, it's pointless paying for it now.

I haven't needed to to be honest. Only really played with Kodi in last month. I'll take a look. If Phoenix has got reliable 1080p feeds of the games then excellent stuff, agree stick with that as the subs also have a chance of going away and losing out on the money. Always found the free feeds a bit hit and miss though.

Sweet and I've just sussed it too.

Ok so go on google and download mobdro apk.... When it's downloaded install into your machine, so your downloading it using your Android box ok, you should have a Web browser on your box.

Once installed it's not working so go settings in top right hand corner where there is three dots, in settings go to the player tab, in player tab switch decoder on so that it forces software decoding.

After that just come back out of it until your at home screen click the search button and type Disney there is three Disney UK channels all working.

I know because I just did all of the above.

Let me know how you get on pal.

OK and now |I have Disney. Basically downloaded the apk on my laptop, put on a usb stick, loaded it on to android and opened MOBDRO directly (then I saw what you meant my the three dots) followed what you said and bingo.

Excellent advice and thank you.

For me I have found a paid sub invaluable certainly until the broadband issues that we have here resolve themselves. The streams are too hit and miss for me through the poor broadband speed that means plenty of buffering and crashing, the paid feed still buffers slightly but is more than enjoyable

I did try and load wookie but I found it easier to use the option to customise my own menus via Kodi which gives me what I want without a load of extras that I wont use (because of the unreliability of the stream)

They have promised us Fibre here in the next few weeks which may change my view on reliability of streams but for now the sub is my better option

Fibre will make a hell of a difference. Watching the Man City game in 1080p was a revelation on Saturday ... just a shame the feeds at that quality are invariably 90 seconds behind real time, so twitter often spoils things!

The paid sub gives a good enough picture to keep me happy but I am intrigued to see the fibre picture when it comes through

I have learned to post on twitter during a game but not to read my feed

i think £12 a month to be able to turn it on and sit and forget about having to change links because they get taken down or buffer etc is a price worth paying for, and for whoever said you just as well get sky if your playing £12 a month, are you getting 3pm kickoffs, bt sport, boxnation etc??? :) and perfect HD on a 100 inch projector

just download it and try it for the 1 days free trial :)
then come back and say its not worth it.

As i posted earlier, i put phoenix on and watch in perfect quality until the game finished, no buffering or changing links. I've watched every Swans away game on there and various other clubs games (every 3pm kick off is on there).

It's a waste of money to pay, unless there is specific problems as stated by Phil above.

The Leicester game on Phoenix now, would this picture quality be classed as 1080/HD/720 or whatever?

That's 720p on stream 1.

If you've got a keyboard with your Kodi set up and press "i", it gives you the picture quality info.

I have got a keyboard but i haven't got an "i" or info button on there.

Never mind you answered the question for me, thank you.

What is a standard definition on sky sports?

If you've got a keyboard you just used the "i" button in that sentence.

I'm pretty sure SD on Sky Sports is 576p.

I've got Linux Kodi 15!..
Does what it says on the tin, i would n't know if it's good buy or not, because it's the first one i've used and i have nothing to compare with.
I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, tech wise, and i can manage it easily enough, i suppose you could class it as "IDIOT PROOF"
