The problem with us as I see it is generating real width with Ayew moving inside too much nullifying our right. But that's only inaffective because naughton is not using the space it leaves effectively, which is not his fault he's just a defensive thinking fullback. Tabanou as I am led to believe loves to push high up the pitch, more of a wing back. If we had Ayew on the left I think tabanou could exploit the space he leaves better than naughton and we could keep our width in attack. Obviously the defensive mid would have to cover the left side on the counter but I think it could help us spread teams. So I'd like to see

I watch the Bournemouth game yesterday, they are/were a far better side than Norwich. If it wasn't for the Newcastle keeper, they would have won by 3 or 4.
Leon has to start the game for me, in place of Ki to keep the ball moving quickly. The only other change i'd make is by putting a winger on the right instead of Ayew, even though he has a tendency to pop up in the right place to stick one in.
If we don't score first then i fear the crowd will turn on the team then we can kiss goodbye to the win, and possibly Monk as well. |  |
