Had one of these for two weeks and am gobsmacked by its capabilities. i want to be fully prepared for the football season though, and just wondering what i need to watch the swans on. I don't mind paying for this. Any advice from those that are experienced with Kodi would be great. Thanks

Easiest way to check if wifi is connected to the box is to check the clock on the home page. If it shows the correct time wifi is connected.

That depends on whether the box is set to use an NTP internet time source. The time will always be correct if the box has had the time specified manually. You know, like we used to set clocks in the old days. :)

I had some wifi issues. For some reason Netflix kept stopping after 7/8 minutes when other apps would keep playing, but then other apps just wouldn't load at all. I bought an ethernet cable which cured all the issues. The box wasn't even far from the router and in sight too.

It could be the start of a clampdown, it's only a matter of time I think. So many people being able to get films and football/sport for free doesn't go down well with the corporations that run our government!!
Sky have chased down all the pubs, surely they'll move onto other users now? Maybe if they charged much less for their product more of us would stay with them. But then that would mean cutting what they pay to the Premier league and they won't risk losing that!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

I remember that name from about a year ago, or maybe less. Didn't say very good things about them, I forget exactly what they did..For me, I wouldn't touch them..

Read the replies on that tweet, and that's quite recent.
