Bastien Hery loves Rochdale.. on 22:46 - Feb 11 by rochdaleriddler | keith hill lives where?, what about Beech and Ellis, get them on a tour of the borough immediately. If i was Bastien i wouldnt have gone round the town to appease some half baked MP. the club should have been stronger. |
Agree completely, whoever sanctioned Hery being hung out to dry needs to take a look at themselves. It must have been a bit humiliating for the lad and he would have been better doing what we pay him for, travelling down to Walsall with the rest of the players. All the Tour de Rochdale publicity stunt did was pour more fuel on the fire and massage the egos of those supposedly running the Town. I sometimes feel with Hery that he often seems to get a raw deal, he's a young kid playing in a foreign country and needs a arm around him. We have some decent midfielders at the club so fitting him in the team can't be easy for Hilly. [Post edited 12 Feb 2015 6:33]

dead right...no doubt he was encouraged to take part in this stunt by the club. There was nothing untoward in his interview and the club should have stood by that position. This only gives some credibility to the original story when there wasn't any. I wonder how many club employees live outside the borough..this seems to be his only 'sin'. Are they all to be given cultural tours?

exactly, I'd hazard a guess that only the lads who came through the academy live here. a lot of the others seem to tweet about traffic on the Motorway so they don't live here.

I'm sure Bastien had a decent time, but all its doing is bringing the matter to the forecourt once more, and giving the original article credence. We should be forgetting it and move on, instead how convenient, during an election year a group of MPs suddenly give a crap about anyone associated with the club, I guess from 8th May they'll disappear back into their caves. It has been tough for Hery the past few days, no need to patronise him, look Bastien, tries bien no? Let the lad move on. [Post edited 12 Feb 2015 12:50]
