Is Chris Nathanial playing us all for fools? 11:05 - Nov 12 with 2205 viewsbrassedoff

If the meeting with Riga was just with BST and was to answer fans questions about his time at BFC then I would have thought fair enough and good on him. The fact the Daily Fail, the Guardian and anyone who would listen was there makes me think this was nothing more than Riga giving out a glorified CV.

Karl Oyston is the Devil incarnate but Riga's agent has manipulated everyone with this meeting.

I think too many of our supporters like to think of everything in black and white and whilst KOKO is as 'black' as they come .. Riga and Nathanial are murky grey at best!

I don't know what colour Riga was because he was never given a chance to show us anything.

As for the meeting, why shouldn't Riga put across his side of events and if that is in his interests then even more so.

I think the meeting was done as PR for Riga; to both 'repair' his reputation to the outside world and to give him a window to tout himself for other jobs.

I also think that from very early on, it became quite clear that Riga was only staying in his job because he wanted to be paid off and not forced out without the pay off.

This has no bearing whatsoever on the REAL issue, which is the continued mis-management of our football club by the owners.

This is no different to the 'Ollie wasn't at training', 'Ollie was at the casino (wink wink)' or 'Ince never supplied a list' propaganda that too many of our supporters still fall for every time, despite a cavalcade of evidence showing you where the problems with out football club actually start and end.

We got Bogdanovic, Oyston got very rich

In answer to the opening post. The meetings were on the same day but at different times.

The press interviews that were completed earlier were mostly damage limitation and positioning for the next Job. And why shouldn't he.

The BST meeting was later and I believe a genuine communication to the Fans. Something he didn't need to do.

Straighters - I think people would be interested in a thread started by you explaining your thoughts on the last 5 years. Seems to me you have the best grasp on this that I've read on here.
