Yep, worth much more than Dawson because he's a matchwinner and someone who not only can dictate games, but change them too.
What he has in terms of awareness is impossible to teach, very few players have a picture of the game both at the exact moment and where it will be 3 seconds later. ie. 'if I pass this ball there, he will be there to receive it' all ahead of actually getting the ball to complete the pass.
We're talking about a player in his first ever season too, it's ridiculous how experienced his football brain is. We maybe don't realise how lucky we are. |  |

Perkins was faster than Jamie and his acceleration over the first few yards was a key part of his game. Jamie is much better on the ball and has added a goal scoring knack, which wasn't evident at youth team level. [Post edited 23 Mar 2014 12:52]
