should have come away with a point.....fine margins in this league. Im sure when the team was announced many thought we were in for a heavy defeat.... We finished strongly but we lack a goal scorer... Next up Stoke who will be on a high after scoring 6 tonight |

Disaster if this goes ahead.....wherenis the supporters director they need to speak with Gude et al and tell them how foolhardy this would be the consequences could end our involvement in the English pyramid. Better we follow Luadrups example amd concentrate on winning the League cup or whatever its called these days. This is an example of the Americans lack of knowledge maybe our Club President can put them straight |

Agree about Grimes he definitely played deeper uesterday and as the central player in a back 3 woth Naughton and Tymon almost playing in cental midfield they certainly were tucked in almost alongside Eom and Ronald. It seemed a strange set up to me ... I think Grimes could do with coming off and replaced by Allen or even benched for a couple of games and ill be contraversial bybsaying id like to see a Franco Fulton Combo with Franco sittingbin frontnif the 2 CBs and Fultton advanced. Let Franco he the playmaker |

Understand your frustration. we missed Cullens running arounfd and pressing yesterday that said Vip gave a good account of himself . Im frustrated as we wasted 4 points in both "derby's". We do need a striker and need to secure at least a second goal when we are on top. On a positive note for me when we are on top we do create scoring opportunities more than we have seen in recent seasons i feel....maybe the statos on here can back that up? |

yes had we not dropped thise points we would be sitting in the play off places just a point behind 2nd place. Not bad given some on here were predicting relegation....yes its still eaely days yet despite our weak squad we seem to be doing well. The best start to a season in a while with at times some entertaining football on display. It seemsas fans Cooper ,Martin,Duff and now Williams are castigated ...in Duffs case it seems justified given his current tenure. Williams may argue his tactics are working given where we are though I fear we are now as predictable as we were under Martin with opposition Managers waiting for us to runnout of legs then attack. It.worked at Coventry as we had that second goal Vigs keeping and the fact thier finishing was crap saved us against Norwich along with Cabangos tackle. Its not all William's fault as is much discussed the tools he has been given by the owners have narrowed his choices though yes he is still playing round pegs in square holes and seems determined to only attack along the wings Still 7 games in we are in touching distance of the play offs and automatics....still early days maybe the still undeused new signings will soon step up....people have short memories Tymon came in for a huge amount of criticism at the start of last season. As as been hinted on here there are possibly things going on on the background re the ownership...so who knows what that will bring Yes we seem to be running things vey tight financially and lets hope that makes us stable financially.....after all thats what the previous ownership did on our rise from the ashes until we got to the PL. Personally Id be happy with a financially stable mid table Championship club having a go in the cups its something I dreamt of 40 years ago. Still a ling way to go this season...Parker and Govea to return...Bianchini to step up...maybe Wilson breaking rhough. |
| Forum Reply | Andrew Coleman : I don’t know if the club is up for sale at 19:44 27 Sep 2024
which is what? Some whats app group is spreadi g rumours Coleman may not be in the loopnif rhe majority shareholders are discussing a sale....after all last time we were sold the majority shareholder was excluded. Coleman may well have control of day to day matters....but be ignorant of issues at higher.levels..it happens personally i have been the man on the ground locally with ulitmate coontrol of day to day matters but had no idea if owners (based abroad) were considereing selling.... I am confused as the article hints Coleman is "manipulating" his start date in order to take the glory for gettingnus in a good situation for FFP or whatever itis nowadays then talks about a changebin ownership ...so where does that leave him? so who is this mysterious all knowing whats app group? Sounds like they are some sort of anarchists |

Exactly the worth of the business is separate to the individulas worth.....effectively CM would go into debt to buy the club |
