Was obvious when Rangers were sniffing and he ‘wasn’t in the right frame of mind to play’. No idea why he’s such a martyr on here. |

Plymouth were in our league weren’t they? Unless you mean he went down a division on loan for game time? |

Although I was happy at the prospect of him being in the squad tomorrow, on reflection, it’s probably a good thing. I think people seriously underestimate the jump between the under 21s and the first team. Wish the same thing had happened with Abdulai. |

Trundle never went on strike when he didn’t get what he wanted. You won’t twist that narrative. Whittaker did that here and he did it this week. Bad apples are bad apples, no matter how good they are. He wouldn’t have shifted Piroe even if he had the right attitude. |

If a player is on a higher contract than he will get elsewhere, he’s not going to move. If a player is a few months from the end of his contract, it’s going to take a huge offer to tempt him. |

No and I’m sure he’s not a huge earner. A few alarm bells ringing lately though. No permanent signings. Struggling with Low because of how we wanted to structure the payments. Abdulai looked like a short contract extension and a loan to somewhere like Orient all day long. See if he could capture his U21 form in league one then make a decision. Hopefully you and WR are right and there was just no benefit to keeping Smith here. |

Some serious cost cutting going on. Unless I’m missing something, PSR is absolutely crippling us |

Maybe he’s better than anyone we have in our academy? Just because we don’t see these players in our first team doesn’t mean they aren’t being assessed all the time. The real issue is probably upgrading our academy again so it produces top players (even if they are poached like James and McBurnie). I’m sure that’s a fair way down the list of priorities whilst we’re fire fighting financially though. |

PSR doesn’t need to go as such. It just needs to be made fair. Maybe there’s a reason it’s not called financial fair play anymore. The idea is right, it’s just really badly implemented. Same could be said for VAR. Both great in theory. Both being done cack handedly and causing more harm than good. |

Bring back the playoffs between the third bottom team and the third from the top of the division below. One game. Wembley Yellow cards appealable is a good shout |

PSR No issue with preventing Newcastle, Man City etc hoovering up all the best players, but just looking at our current dilemma shows how broken it is. Modest amount to spend, but can’t buy players or sack a manager because of lossses made by the previous regime. There must be dozens of cases like us up and down the land. I wouldn’t abolish international football, but I’d shorten the league season (no international breaks) and play it in set windows between seasons. Qualifiers one summer, tournaments the next. |

The manager publicly begging West Brom for a job will do that to a team |

I think that would have happened last night, had we played like we did in the derby. I was fully expecting ‘Williams, Williams (or even Coleman, Coleman) sort it out’ chants. Didn’t happen because of the way the game transpired. There were mistakes, but the effort and intensity was back. Fans aren’t going to get on a teams back when they are giving their all. Plus the ref became a target and rightly so. |

I get all of that. Not everybody is that invested in it. We don’t have a divine right to good crowds, but if anyone does consider themself a committed fan, genuine fan, whatever you want to call it, now is the time to get down there. |
