What’s funny is that the blue few are blind to the fact that for the last 60yrs we’ve pretty much trounced them in league crowd averages!
You’d get a little respect for acknowledging it, but it’s more fun just embarrassing you with the facts!
This coming season will highly likely be another where we average 10k more than the blue few (even though 130 thinks it’s not possible). |

Every season of the 90’s the blue few had individual league gates below 9k.
Numerous below 8k.
Numerous below 7k.
Crikey they even had some below 6k with the lowest being a Nottarf Krap busting 5,272.

During the 70’s & 80’s you also had plenty of individual league gates well under 8.5k, heck you even had some under 5k didn’t you?

You mean those cup games where the blue few day trippers came out to see one of the big teams visit?
Throughout the 70’s & 80’s the blue few only had 3 average league gates over 15k (but below 16k).
Throughout the 70’s & 80’s Saints had 2 average league gates over 22k & 7 over 21k & with only 3 under 15k (but above 14). Saints even averaged 10k more than the blue few for 3 seasons.
