| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 21:29:36 Today we had plenty of luck, trouble was it was all bad luck. Over twenty shots, many on target and from what I saw, every one of our players was playing his heart out. Gabbi looks a good buy and apart from scoring, he also seemed to be up for the fight as well. I think Wet Spam got lucky today, Carroll was his usual self which we failed to neutralise, but their other goals were both dealt with a large slice of luck which on another day, would have been blocked or dealt with by our defenders. With defenders in mind, I thought Yoshi had a solid day and Stephens whilst trying his best was clearly nervous and will benefit from his team-mates experience. So we live to fight another day and on another day where the opposition is less lucky, we could either gain the three points or bring home a cup. Despite some saying the fans were quiet, I and those in my area were very vocal and got right behind the team, I intend to keep roaring them on. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 19:14:05 Thanks DPeps....as a great man said "If it stays as it is I can't see it altering" in other words I think without the introduction of a few new faces, we'll probably see out this season in mid-table mediocrity. We have some great players who simply need a spark to ignite them into action, a January transfer or maybe a lightning bolt from the academy might just hold the key. I'm a glass half full kind of bloke and can't see how constant negativity helps either the players or the Boss, so let's get behind the squad and give them our support, remember no player, team or Boss ever crosses the line with the intention of losing. |
| Your Report | Oldham Athletic v Salford City Your Report added at 17:24:01 You're all missing the point, we has nearly two thirds of the possession and twenty shots which was more than twice the number of Burnley. On another day two or three of our five shots on target could go in, I suppose then you'd be moaning that we hadn't got into double figures. There are no easy games in the premiership, you have to grind out the results and sometimes the luck goes with you and sometimes not. Burnley got lucky, we're still a great club with some outstanding players...forget it and let's look forward to a win at the next game. |
