Idiots
at 21:58 27 Apr 2019

Agreed, and it can't be that hard to identify the persistent goons, numb from the shoulders up. These halfwits stand out a mile.

Dale security needs to focus on these guys with a zero tolerance policy before we got more pockets of plebs, popping up.

Take a bow BBM
at 20:54 27 Apr 2019

I've watched a few interviews of BBM and he's a refreshing change of managerial persona for Dale.

I'm only slightly slagging Hill off here as he's a legend for Dale. For his achievements and promotions. However for connecting with fans, he did have a touch of narcissism, he wanted us to appreciate all that he is and everything that he had achieved for us. Without question.

BBM might be a real b@stard in the dressing room, booting lockers, Chinese burns and giving a slack player a hairdryer. But in BBM Interviews he speaks with an appreciation of supporters, who pay a lot of money to follow a team through thick and thin; and for some all over the country.

The complete opposite of a condescending bloke looking down on the peasants.

I know its really early days, and it could go t1ts up next season. We don't know how good he is at recruitment, he might only try northern employment? but he's on his way to being a true ambassador for the club.

Ethan Hamilton - Quality.
at 18:47 27 Apr 2019

He's off back to Man U soon, but his presence in Midfield will be missed, only 20 but he has a presence and looks to lift the players around him. A Team player, positive and humble. He was a major factor of getting us out of the deep hole we were in March.

Cracking long-range scorer of goals andI'm sure a potential future Captain. Let's hope we can get him again or BBM gets lucky again and gets another loanee, who also cares about working hard positively, for whichever badge he is playing for.

I agree. Lillis was pretty solid especially under the late pressure and carnage in front of him. When dale got bodies in the way.

For fans..always a bit nervy when back passes bounce about on a poor pitch. But he dealt with them with confidence.

Bump...back up the table.

Cold night in an open away end and a fairly noisy Dale support.

Strong desire tonight for the players to want to play and keep the club up in what was always going to be a scrap.Thought we edged them on quality. Just. Shit for a while.. but we did stutter towards a performance.

I think we are stilll short of an out an out battler who puts his head where it hurts, but Done and Rathbone in particular stood out for me tonight wanting to get forward with pace searching for that break and luck.

Mcnulty in defence I thought was great today dealing with the inswinging crosses. Sticking that boot out, hoofing the ball to safety on what was a bumpy sandy surface.

I thought Camps could have battled more with the high balls and seemed to stayout of 50/50 challenges. Not really going toe to toe. However he's good at getting a foot in a tackle and controlling the ball, he could be a really great player, I'm sure he can turn a game with a bit of consistency and bit more aggression.

Hard earned three points and boost towards survival.

fingers crossed for BBM

Bit nervous and raw in the interview.

However an honest man and his humble demeaner shows through. I imagine he's blown away with the opportunity to manage at league level. His family also.

Only a few games to prove himself.

really looking forward to the game, 2nd game in two years after drifting away and hope he can juice a great performance out of this rabble.

A short comedy about a Rochdale fan..
at 19:30 8 May 2018

The film is shot well, nice camera and has good acting on that front. You can tell you have got some pro's helping out.. However I thought the script needs some comedy moments, its alright. Prolly would have been better if you had put in some Rochdale, Bury fan stereotypes.

So, Season To Remember Or Season To Forget?
at 23:53 7 May 2018

I disagree with any reference to a season to forget.

No way it's been a flat, boring sh1te 12 months.

This season has been a colourful year. An emotional journey and one that's seen us claw back up the table to escape from 4th tier abyss.

This season should be celebrated for Dale's fighting spirit, were not a team with buckets full of cash. Keiths worked wonders on the player's minds

Raw talent and positive mentality, has been the driving force. My plaudits go to the management team, who encourage ok players and invigorate them into a force to do battle, Saturdays magic moments won't be forgotten.

Attendance v MK Dons
at 21:02 18 Feb 2018

ebbs and flows. Hundreds of non-Rochdale fans there.

Many friends and family, and those local, who support more successful clubs and have a soft spot for Dale.

If we can keep up performances, I think attendance will increase although marginally. Hardcore fan attendance is pretty rigid week to week, although I think there's a good chance some will be tempted to go see Dale again.

Its definitely an instigated fake-trip.

Conjured.

By a very quick movement, spilling himself over an outstretched knee.

I can see how the referee was duped though.

Season Ticket push 2017-18
at 22:49 1 Apr 2017

This season ticket push is aimed at a big market of fans who are priced out of todays matches.

Those fans that have followed the Dale over the years and have stopped going because of the huge cost of following a football club, they must be in there thousands if counting over the last 30 years.

How many fans used to be regulars in the sandy lane, remember standing in willbutts lane before it was rebuilt ,taking a piss and watching the match through the window of the crappy guttering back splash style toilets getting their feet wet. Also remember swapping ends at half time in to 80's.

This opportunity gives those priced out fans to come back into the fold. Those left to watch the results on the final score or internet have a chance to buy back into the Rochdale experience at a very low cost.

There is risk, but what a moment to be following the dale with 4000 fans + at every game

Season Ticket Totaliser Thread
at 23:41 31 Mar 2017

I thought differently,I bought into this scheme and took a punt at getting a discount ticket for what could be a one off opportunity for a unique season. Sitting on the fence I wasn't going to, and bought with positivity. This is a new marketing technique to get a massive attendance and as a long time fan who is happy to try something different, I am going to roll with it. If its a disaster and I can't afford the final outlay then, its a 50 quid loss. I'm not rich but big deal. I'm sure the rest of the loyal fans will help push this fantastic opportunity through friends and family i'm sure we'll reach a great target and it will be a packed Spotland next season.

Season Ticket Totaliser Thread

I just got ordered a season ticket online for the first time in 15 years.

Ordering online, I'm going to be sat in the main stand and there's only a few seats at the bottom near in the 2 central blocks now. They must be selling well.

Now games are affordable I'm glad to be back and.... online you can bang it on the cards too which is even more of a bonus for me.

Upthedale and roll on next season!

main stand is where you get full view of the game and if you get a seat at a reasonable price its well worth it.

Not the guys fault.
Email/visit the club and tell them to bang your reserved season ticket sticker on the back of your seat to stop it from happening again and pronto. Tell them the consequence of their feckup.

Carlisle v Rochdale Away Day Video
at 00:44 4 Dec 2016

Looks like you enjoyed making the video which is what its all about. Seems you have a good set of lads helping you along the way! In a few years you'll have some great memories recorded. 2nd video I've seen and they are improving. From my view, If you want to make it even better and have the video include further matchday experience. Include shots like - Approach to the ground - Entrance into/through the turnstyles - score prediction - thoughts on opponents - flick through the programme - kick off - Pies/food, goals if you can get them - the march out of the ground after a win! Grab the away experience and get it down on video. keep the travel out of the window shots snappy and not too long. Edit with the things you might find mundane but encapsulates what an everyday fan does in matchday rituals from what's in the butty box to aftermatch pint in a pub. The after match review is great! Carry on there Great!
