Very much this. Fox made a mistake and that happens. I cannot blame Fox for the first goal. A bit sloppy perhaps but had to avoid collapsing with another of our players who was sliding towards the goal. Who it was i dont recall. Then the ball bounced to the mid of the penalty are from where dunne and field i think were desperately late to clear it off. Easily you could put this loss on Chair too who missed an open change trying to be clever and do the same as Dembele. There were some good moves that ended into a half witted shots somewhere where the goal might be but not exactly into the net.
Once more then i give it a rest. No this has nothing to do with Nourry. Its MC s team and his signings. All that kind of signings he needed to for his game idea and most if not all of them are better from what we had. Are we really missing players like dozzel and dykes for an example. Surely not. But unfortunately the championship proved to be a bit too physical for most of our new players and it takes time to adapt into it and think these players will learn it. Sooner than later i hope. Much depends on MC.
I would be very surprised if any of the players who came last summer are anything other than what Cifuentes wanted and our money chest allowed. Looks exactly those kind of players he needed for his idea of how the team should play. Did he sign only dross? No. The players are ok. Most of them better than what we had. Its just not clicking at the moment.
I d say about two or three if no wins. Sad but true. The team is built up by him and looks decent on paper but it just dont seem click with his coaching. We ll see. I really hope it will work but at the moment it seems too big task. Its a mess on the pitch.
Looks like 3-5-2 to me. Worth to try instead of the usual 4-2-3-1. Could go either way but somehow I do have bad feeling about this. 0-2 to Portsmouth.
This is confusing me too because clearly there is a player in there. And i think i do value him over Saito at the moment for the minutes i ve seen lloyd play.
That goal goes to paal who did not make a move to get madsens pass and paal s all around slow reaction to anything around him so didnt notice derby player who took the ball.
Not sure if he could help us to do a comedy nor a tragedy out of this mess. Maybe it gets better after twelfth night when we have signed couple of old school bone crushing midfielders instead of tippy tappy midgets.
If this coming international break is helping the team to sort it out as the one before did then we are surely heading towards league one.... I hope not as we might see MC out the revolving door before xmas. And that will be a bit stupid. But it looks very grim at the moment.
Of course he plays Anderssen. Who else is there to play? Smyth? Headless chicken run towards the goal line and then a pass to no one or he loses the ball to a hardened defender with 6 seasons of championship footy? Smyth is hardly a league one standard and i dont know who the feck had the brain fart to give him a second deal here. EDB? I rather have Andersen with all his experience than a 23 yrs old who has about one and a half minute of championship footy under his belt.
Madsen was more than decent the first 45 mins but then second half faded. I ll be more concerned about Field and Andersen in what they did. Nothing that is. Both have been very poor this season.
