We couldn’t get Nmecha on loan when it looked likely he would be a Swans player. Besides why have they waited until now to get these so called loan players in? I don’t trust these lot to get anyone of note on loan. They are dragging their heals once again. |

Along with the water, electric, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cups and spoons, all on loan. I’ve heard it on good authority. |

Good call but I was thinking of maybe naming it after Owain Glyndwr. As for naming it the Prince of Wales it is apt as every time you have to pay at the Severn Bridge tolls symbolically it denotes the payment that every road using taxpayer pays to the Crown. |

Another two lines He makes us retch, he makes us puke His rise to the top it was a fluke |

There’s a part of the verse that can be changed. He’s still there, it’s not fair, Does he care, it’s not fair. |

I would tend to agree with the OP. At Championship level it may be a case of thriving rather than just surviving as they were doing at Premier League level. Fer in particular will surely come into his own. |

“Obviously you never want your team to get relegated and the scum going up does worsen the sickening feeling.” I’d like to think that, as a Welsh club, all that Cardiff are doing is keeping the Prem warm for us whilst we have a brief hiatus from the top flight. With the right stewardship we can once again be a force to be reckoned with and sit at the top table. |

Just to tidy it up a bit with a rhyme for the last two lines I would suggest something like this: Jenkins was our hero, but now he’s just a tw*t, He sold out to the Yankees, the dirty lying rat! Martin saw the pound signs and sh*gged a players wife (or: and cheated on his wife), He used to love the Swans (or: He sold us down the Swanee), and chose a richer life! F* k off to the both of you, it was always just a front, Get out of our club and run, you money grabbing c*nts! |

Good luck and all the best for the future, whether that be with us or elsewhere. Exceptional. |

Lest we forget that Martinez and Rogers were total unknown quantities, one with no track record as a manager and the other with a track record that wasn’t altogether a success. This can be turned around again in the Championship. All it needs is some shrewd business to be done to discover the next promising manager. It can be done. Our past track record proves that. |

Could be the masterplan. All those players in the team that don’t have homes to go to post relegation will have to content themselves with settling down in the Championship with the Swans. There they could maybe find their level and thrive. It’s like it was scripted ala JTAK. |

Hear hear. It stinks tbh with you. Maybe that’s the shape of things to come. Owners of the club for the long haul no matter what League we’re in. Relegation is seen as an occupational hazard. |

The flow of the game will be there as the players will not crowd round the referee and argue their case so much. I've noticed myself that yellow carding the player who argues with the ref doesn't always have the intended effect of keeping discipline. I noticed that both teams of players didn't go up to the ref when VAR was used much like what happens in a rugby game. If you take a look at the flow of a rugby game it will effectively have the feel of that which is a smooth 80mins worth of entertainment. The time wasting will be gone and a more efficient game will appear in it's place. |

Try Vipbox. There's a link there for the game. Not sure if it will work later on this evening but at least there's a chance we can watch the game. |

Should this be a definite red card offence? My thoughts are it should be based on the consequences of the decision going in favour of the cheating player. Either that or give the penalty the other way. |

Judging by the state of the club at the moment, you've got to say that Giggs could see a mile off where we were heading and that was back to the Championship. |

It's swings and roundabouts really with regards to this what if scenario. A draw against Southampton isn't quite as satisfying as one against Chelsea who were on course to be the other team to have full points alongside their name on the table. We stopped them in their tracks. On the other hand a loss against Chelsea was to be expected and a point at Southampton would have then been a welcome one. A 2 all draw would also have told us that the potential was there to beat these teams and our safety in the Premier League would have felt more assured. |
