I am a little surprised by all of this as I had thought there were 180 tickets still available. I turned up at Blackpool around 11:45, parked up, walked to main ticket office - and bought 2 tickets for the away end - no problem.
My starter for the bench (but not sure if Will Buckley or Chris Dagnall would qualify - but they helped get us into Lg1)
Conrad Logan (assuming Heaton now starting) Ashley Eastham (CH) Reece Bennett (versatile) Stephen Dawson (CM) Peter Vincenti (versatile) Chris Dagnall (Forward) Will Buckley (wide/forward)
Travelling to the game yesterday, I stopped off for a bite to eat at the Windmill - a popular place just off Jn19 of the M6. A regular place for football teams to pick up players when travelling to away games.
The pub had placed a notice on their door. I do have a photo but don't have it on the internet to post it. It publicised the fact that no players from Fleetwood, Accrington nor Stalybridge were allowed on their premises, including the car park. The reason being a complete lack of respect to the place, the staff, and the general public. Having spoken to staff I can fully understand why.
As Mr. Coleman once said - "be careful what you wish for"
I have not posted for some time — but have one thought for next season.
These pink pants. Those Oldham pink t-shirts (I think).
How about — combined — next year - at the home and away games - we have a combined show of support for Mr Ernie Cooksey? Combined chants and combined pinkage?
And use local media to promote football solidarity and support for generating further awareness of the dangers of sunburn?
I also heard it is very true he and Bell were very very very late.
I also heard that Gary was not invited to attend the match at the weekend. I heard he was told in no uncertain terms to stay away from the club until after the weekend
I heard that was in response to being called unprofessional by an unnamed player
Make of it what you want. Not nudge nudge wink wink - but puts into context what you can believe you were all told
