I know of them and like them Thanks for sharing that.
Did you know that they made an album jointly with the band Elder? This track is fantastic, in my humble opinion, as is the video. I have shared this before, in case anyone is getting a feeling of deja vu.
He made load of mistakes at QPR and I don't want him involved with the club again but you are being totally unfair when you talk about Fernandes' business acumen.
When he and his partner took over the "airline," it had two aircraft.
It now has 255, flies to 166 destinations and employs 23,000.
I use Twitter / X more now than I have ever done but I don't pay much attention to my feed. Even though I have muted accounts I previously needed to follow for work purposes, it's still too long to keep on top of, plus some irrelevant stuff has started appearing in it.
These days, I use it to get the latest news on the subjects I am most interested in, by using the search function. This works really well and I don't get much if any irrelevant dross.
The one exception I have found so far is searches for "wildflower meadows". For some unfathomable reasons, bots and peddlers of spam have latched onto the topic and lots of tweets saying things like "A meadow dotted with wildflowers is a patchwork of color and beauty" crop up, usually accompanied by a picture of an Asian woman in her underwear, drinking tea, sat in a hotel fully clothed or walking down a street, again, fully clothed. In fact, recently, the accompanying pics have become even more strange because now inanimate objects are featured in them.
There has never been any p0rn, in case anyone is thinking of using a newfound interest in meadows as a ruse for accessing more racy content.
I was watching a documentary about trench warfare and WW1 and a German who served in it said something which has stayed with me ever since: "Even the rats were terrified".
I'm not sure if it crops up anywhere else in the interview but our S & P position needs to be included in the discussion, to put our recruitment in context.
Unlike big Premiership teams, we are severely constrained by the regulations and can't splurge on players. Begovic surely knows that.
I particularly liked this line: " A team you could presently distract with a shiny piece of paper".
A shout out for 062259, their one word summaries of our plight are comedy gold and lift the gloom a little. We had "Pray" in the match preview and now we have "Doomed" in the match report. That's QPR summed up in two little words, sigh
There are almost too many to mention, but I would add the following to the list of those already flagged up: - Digswell: Gets us talking about lots of topical issues - Nix: Intelligent and thought provoking posts - Stainrod's Elbow: If only we could find some way of injecting your white hot passion for the club into our lazier players - Gary Haddock: The Hooters revelation about Brian and I was inspired and cracked me up - The friendly posters on here who support Fulham, Brentford, Millwall, Sunderland etc: I really appreciate your views, I feel that your alternative perspectives stop us from becoming too self obsessed.
A big thank you to all of you for the ton of content which appears on here, both about Rangers and about other stuff. The pandemic, working from home and then redundancy took their toll on me - and many others - but you lot kept me connected, informedand entertained .
"Ireland's wild islands," on Sky Nature, is three one hour slices of calming escapism and probably just what most of us need after all the footballing horror shows we've been experiencing.
