Paal stopped the rot when he came in against Bristol city . Ashby was getting murdered down that flank .
Apparently the opposite happened yesterday.
The inconsistency of performances is common place in this leauge .
When Paal does leave, he will end up like a long list of “ our not quiet good enough ex players”
We know who they are and what they have gone on not to achieve. |

It will all end in tears for both FF and Spudhead .
In ten years time FF will be a Tory MP and Spudhead will be appearing on I’m a celebrity after getting his barnet done for a third time.
Most of the big media outlets couldn’t give a toss about one of the best attended leauges in the world unless the failed golden generation go head to head in a leauge game. |

Happy Christmas to all posters and also to Clive who does a cracking job.
We all have different views and sometimes we don’t agree with others people’s opinions .
What we do agree on is the utter joy and ecstasy that goes with a last minute winner at Loftus road.

Like last season. I thought once we climbed out of the bottom three we would stay out .
Enormous credit to the management and players for that .
It hasn’t been pretty at times but the Watford , Norwich and Preston games contained some very decent football in stark contrast to the early season dross where we easily beaten and a really dull watch .
We will have some bad patches but we’re getting there. |

The performance today was definitely the most pleasing aspect . We got back to the levels we showed at Watford and to a certain degree , Norwich.
Three games in a week is always going to be a push for an injury ravaged squad and it showed against Oxford and Bristol.
The weeks break was a huge benefit. |

Think there was a few here on a downer after our last two displays.
Didn’t quite get that . We were very poor but still came out with four points.
Very unlucky to be one down at half time but we kept going and got our deserved 3 points .
Thought Chair and Paal combined brilliantly in the last ten minutes.
Changed the game.
Smyth is proving me wrong and is now looking like a championship player.
Morgan was outstanding as was varane .
Morrison is consistently good and as for Jimmy … well he likes a last minute winner. |

Heckingbottom was very happy in his post match interview.
He didn’t mention the fact we missed two sitters , hit the post twice and dominated proceedings.
But it wouldn’t suit his sour grapes arguments.
Next in line to be sacked I should imagine. |

Those new stadiums in Saudi wont fill themselves.
In 15 years time Manchester Utd will be playing Real Madrid for the fourth time in the new super leauge for the benefit of Armchair fans all over the world.
We won’t care nor will most other football Leauge supporters. |

We picked up 4 points from two very poor performances against Oxford land Bristol City .
Played Watford off the park and whacked Norwich.
Some perspective please as it was only a couple of weeks since those displays.
We’ve done with a threadbare squad as well. |
