Uchegbulam gone to Oldham?
at 17:36 3 Jul 2024

Uchegbulam and John both moving on frees up more wages.

Big Jim shape shift can carry on inside what will be the new 24/25 budget.

There just is a feel of structured re-build rather than lurch from pillar to post.

I think there is a decent footballer in there somewhere (Jez) its a shame we could not unlock the potential.

A fantastic move for Cian.

And we have a relationship with Posh should he not quite be ready for the 1st team and needs some experience on loan

McNulty interview
at 17:47 2 Jul 2024

Back to McNulty...

I thought he came across relieved, re-energized and happy to be in a ship that's been transformed and in much calmer waters.

Its a huge season for McNulty and I am right behind him. He has a calm persona and he certainly loves the Dale. If he can deliver a Plan B when things are not going right and he keeps all the squad happy and running through walls that will do me as that should be enough for a much better season on the pitch.

Lets start well.. first 10 Games how about 6xwins 2xdrawn that leaves room for 2 defeats and would see Dale sitting in the top 3.

Roll on August 10th.

Terrible AGAIN...

There is no excuse.

The Gallagher obsession has to end immediately. Possibly the Harry Kane one too.

Start with Mainoo / Palmer / Gordon

Play Foden and Jude Bellingham as an 8 and a 10 either side of a kicked up the arse Rice.

Movement and Pace lacking for 85 minutes last night the only impact second half came when the subs got introduced (Gordon at least 10 minutes to late).

Southgate is a busted flush on the evidence of the 3 group games.

Bury 2019 have done a good illusionst trick on the gormless bury folk.

How far did you expect to progress in 5 years? so yes the phoenix AFC renamed play at about the right level.

All those nodding on a match day

#AFC #plastic pitch #no history #northwestcounties

Closing your eyes really tight Rob might help you convince yourself but everyone on here knows, and deep down you know too...

After what we have been through I feel for the supporters.

To many shysters trying to make money by owning heritage community clubs lets hope the latest arrival isn't in that mold for Southends sake.

Rodney Signs New Deal

Agree it needs to be a 2 up top..

If we can keep Mitchell and Rodney up top together, high up the pitch playing forwards it should be an exciting season.

The supply will come i am encouraged with the recent new signings and look forward to seeing who else is joining in the coming weeks.

Connor McBride, Tobi Adebayo Rowling, Tarryn Allarakhia and of course Hendo should be causing a lot of problems for National League defenses next season.

Sounds like you have accepted a level that is about right for bury so that's a relief the penny finally dropping.

Dale have a plan to return to the football league and I am looking forward to next season to see how we go about our business on the pitch.

That Famous North West Counties Phoenix Club.

I am not holding my breath tonight I suspect it will be more than the same and a low scoring 1-0 to England against a rhetoric of its tournament football and we topped the group.

It might be the same in the last 16 against a 3rd place team but then we head home as QF losers.

Onto Dale...McNulty could be onto something IF he brings in some players capable AND mixes it up a bit so we are not so predictable and easy to play against. Watching the goal of the season highlight reel from last season we scored some amazing goals that came after 20+ passes and several passages of play.

The down side is I have not seen a bloopers reel that show the dangers created by ourselves and how often we shot ourself in the foot.

In 46 games last season we dropped points 30 times (Thirty!!!) i am prepared to give McNulty all my support as he was dealt a pretty shitty hand by the club last season. Next season is different hand and there can be absolutely no excused. The above stat needs to be halved if possible that would place us firmly in the top 6.

JK would be a very good addition.

John can go for me... lets get some new blood in to freshen it up.

A fully fit Devente Rodney could be a beast at this level.. His muscle, power and pace a huge assett for us.... Mitchell to play alongside could develop into a lethal partnership.

Very happy with this news.

AFC Bury… the Phoenix.

Just because they changed the name they are still the phoenix club.

The illusion continues…

Agreed with the analogy of Dale last season.

Turgid, pedestrian, boring, stifling = costing 2 points.

The players interviews at the end an embarrassment. Southgate is responsible and needs change things and quickly or its a last 16 exit for sure.

A lesson in how to turn world class players into stumps layed out right there last night.

Agree i hope Big Jim is equally as bored watching England and the penny drops that this is just a trend of the moment and he wants to become a firestarter that can ignite Dale come August.

On the basis of the tactics employed in our games V Serbia and Denmark England will find it almost impossible to make the quarter final playing like this.

It must be difficult knowing that you have started to follow a Phoenix club but every day try and convince yourself its the original bury.

I guess the web is so intricate now its only another layer to the illusion.

Phoenix club on a plastic pitch....

It's happened the last two years (at Radcliffe and at Gigg), and at least now we could do something about it, which was largely grant funded.

More handouts eh Barry!!

Excellent win v West Indies...

Bring on South Africa and then hopefully a semi Final after the USA game.

Not convinced by this format at all. Super 2 x fours.

Long may it continue..

we need every employee, director, volunteer, fan.. to be at the top of there game.

This is the pivotal moment for change for the better. The days of little old Rochdale should be firmly behind us.

Last season the opening home game, The Ticket office match day opening hours was advertised as 9.00am. I know one casual attendee turned up at 09.05 to buy several tickets. It still sticks in my throat this one... I believe the office eventually opened at about 9.28.... He or his friends never attended another home game all season. Talk about a missed opportunity.

I am confident this type of CBA attitude is a thing of the past.
