Open All Rsss - Finney + Warbs

I know I have been less than gracious about Finney as host of my fave Podcast of the last 10+ years but a good hour with Warbs reflecting on times past and clear that Mark keeps an eye on what Marti and the team are up to.

Finney reined it in 99% with the Chelsea/Brentford hatred bile that makes some recent stuff go off in unnecessary tangents, so a good listen.

Warbs thinks that between Marti and the squad we should stay up. Let’s hope so.

Big game tomorrow though

I had 1min of over reacting but then

I admit it.

For the last 20 mins I was going downhill.

The FT whistle went and for 1min the glass of Merlot with the Pizza, the two Black Bush and the ‘I’m on holiday tomorrow so I will try that bottle of Black Barrel’ kicked in and I was raging.

But I was at LF on Saturday afternoon for the draw against the Canaries.

Tonight after 44 mins we were shite.

But that was the first defeat in a while and those ‘we will easily win this!’ never comes true.

ALL IS NOT LOST!

There is progress.

Mrs picked me up from the Tesco car park in Northwood Hills when I got off the tube.

I popped into Tesco and decided I needed 4 pack of pint tins of 1664.

Middle daughter looked after the oven and 2 pizzas were produced washed down with 2 large glasses of Yellow Tail Jammy Red Roo.

And then I found Martin Scorsese’s George Harrison doc Living in the Material World.

I will sleep tonight having washed away the game and result.

Can’t do this all season again though.

Swansea Tickets

Was waiting for Swansea tickets to come online as cousin from Ireland is coming over with his son and was gonna bring my dad and gooner brother too.

Email just in with offer of £10 a ticket anywhere in the ground for Hoops members and season ticket holders.

Online it would not let me have access to that game but rang the ticket line and 4 tickets secured for the princely sum of £43.50.

Omicron Prickly Heat

Woke up 2am on Sunday morning with a fully developed head and chest cold and 5:30am Monday morning still haven’t been able to get any sleep since

Had loads of negative Lat Flow tests in the past but after taking a test Sunday morning the second line appeared to confirm I had it after about 30 secs.

The thing that has kept me awake is not the feeling rough as I am not too bad but either my immune or my booster three weeks ago doesn’t like Omicron and has given me the worst prickly heat since I was in Crete when I was 18.

Just hope the Mrs and girls can swerve it before Christmas but I can’t see how they can even we me being banished to solitary confinement since 9am on Sunday..

Make sure you get some antihistamine in just in case this is a common side effect as I haven’t any until the shops open and someone gets out of bed for me ðŸ˜‚

Edit: turns out we had some antihistamine in the cupboard all the timeðŸ˜

Heathrow T2 Drop Off Zone Charge - Fine

Not sure if already mentioned but beware of the situation at LHR T2 passenger drop off zone.

Was out there a couple of times and there were signs saying that charging would start from 1st Nov. However when I arrived there a couple of weeks back to drop off my cousin, although the signs were there there we no barriers or gates as you entered the area like you have at Luton or Gatwick or one of the actual car parks - so I naively assumed it had been delayed along with so many other projects at the moment.

Just got a £80 fine, £40 if I pay within 14 days through the letterbox.

I have challenged this because I think this is an unfit for purpose solution because it is a drop off zone not a car park, so the onus is for people to stop their car and go over and find a sign that tells you how to make a payment whereas everywhere else on site there are barrier controlled entrance and or exits to ensure you pay.

QPR+ Live Stream from France

Am I missing something here or being stupid?

I am in Paris and I am guessing that our Wifi here our work owned hotel breaks out to the internet back in the UK from London so I won't be able to subscribe to the live stream on my laptop using the wifi.

So I have my phone connected with data only and it tells me I have to use the App to subscribe to the game but when I access it on the App it tells me I must download the App - which I am already on?

Grrrr!
