| Your Report | Ipswich Town v Southampton Your Report added by Colburn at 00:06:17 Might see a verdict some time today, but the moment has gone now. Looked like we were very lucky with their dodgy keeper but we were due some luck! If it continues in to the next 2 games at home to Bournemouth and Brighton then we are back in the hunt with 15 points, but Bournemouth will be really tough. Didn’t see the match but in the highlights, seemed that Bedders was terrorised by Delap all game which shows we desperately need a CB with pace and strength. Is ABK ever going to be fit to play again, he has those things.. |

| Your Report | Ipswich Town v Southampton Your Report added by Monksway at 15:19:41 We were due a bit of luck and worked hard for the win. In truth it was a game between two championship sides and I can't see any of the promoted sides avoiding relegation. Be nice if we got a bit closer in terms of points. I really wonder how poor ABK, Wood and Charlie Taylor must be in training if THB, Bree, Bednarek and Stephens are chosen in front of them. |
| Your Report | Ipswich Town v Southampton Your Report added by SaintPaulVW at 09:42:25 I will take scuffed in goals. What price Tall Paul now goes on to be this season's top scorer for us. About time we had a bit of luck. New guys looked good. Hopefully this will help build confidence. Due to the injuries either ABK is in the mix or we switching to a back 4. To me, both those options may actually help us push on. COYR |
| Your Report | Millwall v Queens Park Rangers Your Report added by Geoff78 at 22:35:25 Apart from the odd spell and Lloyd's well taken goal Rangers lacked precision in their passing and aggression in their challenges for the first 60 minutes. With Saito on the pitch from the 64th minute and later Frey and Yang with Ashby looking more the part we dominated the last 25 minutes and should have got the equaliser at least. There were many possible reasons for the out of sorts performance early on. Marti wasn't there, neither was Jimmy and whatever happens with Dunne the rumours are unsettling. Cook was back for his first start for a while and wasn't at his best. Edwards may turn out to be a decent RB, but he can't give us Jimmy's energy or aerial threat. Paal and Chair had poor games. With more players available after injury and at least one newcomer Marti is going to have selection problems and it won't be easy to keep them all match fit. Yang had some good moments when he came on and I assume Spurs expect him to play regularly, which may mean Smyth missing out. That would be hard on him after playing well. Disappointing but not bad. Lloyd my MotM for his endeavour and goal. |
| Your Report | Ipswich Town v Southampton Your Report added by YosemiteSaint at 20:43:32 Occasionally we were a bit fortunate not to concede—particularly on set pieces. But we rode our luck, kept our shape, and capitalized on a leaky keeper. Now if only Wolves hadn't won (and looked good doing so, although their derby opponents Villa seem slightly lost these days), we'd be slightly better positioned in our four-team relegation-candidate mini-league. It remains odds on that we and our fellow promoted sides are set for the drop. |

| Your Report | Ipswich Town v Southampton Your Report added by silverspringsaint at 17:52:32 About to excoriate Tall Paul for his inability to stay onside and his general lack of mobility - and then he sticks it in the net in classic No. 9 style! Woo hoo! Ipswich were desperately poor defensively (their keeper!) so it would have been annoying not to have won that. New boys did well, Fernandes too. Those large holes still tend to appear from time to time, as with the goal, but we were more convincing on defence today. A pity with the points we threw away early in the season, as we are certainly not worse than the other two promoted teams. One game at a time though! |
| Your Report | Ipswich Town v Southampton Your Report added by Bowlercow at 17:51:19 Didn't see this one so only have Radio Solent to go by Couple of newbies seemed to do well but by the commentary Joe Aribo deserves MotM Scored the first goal, covered at cb when Capt Jack limped off (to be out for the rest of the season hopefully) And jut for a change we didn't get robbed by VAR |
