At last Tall Paul gets a start. 13:50 - Dec 26 with 3168 views | GRIM | Ivan Juric has done what RM was afraid to do, he's given Tall Paul a start today. At least it shows the new coach has some bottle & gives TALL Paul a chance to convince us that he can do a job.
At last Tall Paul gets a start. on 14:03 - Dec 26 with 2290 views | Flamingbankers | Both big boys start; Ugochukwu as well. With Archer and Dibling as Super Subs.

At last Tall Paul gets a start. on 14:28 - Dec 26 with 2144 views | saint22 | Clearly a change of playing style - Unsure about Lesley for Aribo but let’s see Not a bad side at all although we will miss Dibling - Maybe resting? And NO Stephen’s to be seen!

Unfortunately our defence didn’t stay switched on What’s n awful goal to concede
At last Tall Paul gets a start. on 16:47 - Dec 26 with 1709 views | Heisenberg | In the build up to the goal an earlier cross came in and it looked like a West Ham player was offside but it doesn’t looked they looked at it. As for the red card I thought two footed tackles was a sending off. He took out KWP.

We should have been two up before HT so only have ourselves to blame Plus the defending for that goal wa shocking and Ramsdale should have come to claim it earlier in the move!
At last Tall Paul gets a start. on 17:13 - Dec 26 with 1568 views | 1885_SFC | Good first half - flat as fukk the second. Same old story really ; no real quality up front. Can't see anyone scoring goals regularly for us & that will be, and is, our ultimate downfall. Good to see the tippy-tappy bollocks across the back disappear from our game though. All in all, and despite having a new manager, the scoreline is near enough what I expected. Even if we had Pep or Klopp in charge, the squad is well below what's needed in the top flight. Good luck to Juric though. I like the fella.

At last Tall Paul gets a start. on 17:22 - Dec 26 with 1532 views | mushinexile | Not that well below. Paul needs his satnav recalibrating but we gave them something to think about. It will take a couple more games to make progress I reckon but the wind has changed.
At last Tall Paul gets a start. Aced on 17:33 - Dec 26 with 1474 views | kernow | Decent display first half display and good to see a bit of presence up front. Armstrong should have been replaced much sooner though. Stoppage time Dibling should have put Paul in through on goal instead of putting the ball into the Northam. Juric will have learned a lot. At last Tall Paul gets a start. on 18:05 - Dec 26 with 1369 views | City_boy | Shame about the result, but a lot of positives from today. Tall Paul had a good game, but his finishing was not the best, He should have had 3 today, but put in a big shift as did most of the players. West Ham goal was scrappy and result of poor defending. Would like to see same team next game, but with Archer in place of Armstrong and Sugawara dropped (but not for Stephens). He seems to always have a mistake in him and his positional play at back looks questionable. Aribo didn't appear to know where their goal was. He was constantly playing ball back.

Strikers who have good games score, running around like a headless chicken doesn't really cut it.

'running around like a headless chicken doesn't really cut it' He did more up front then anyone else and had a shot brilliantly saved by Fabiański.

How many goals and assists did he have today, none, it's like saying a horse that fell at the last while leading had a good race.

At least we were getting balls into their box & creating chances with Tall Paul up front. That's more than we have been doing in previous games.

We have a midfield with the penetrating abilities of a eunuch and strikers that couldnt hit their own arses with a shovel. It won't matter who the manager is or what system we play.
At last Tall Paul gets a start. on 19:38 - Dec 26 with 1068 views | dirk_doone | The difference between the 2 teams today was that only one had a goalscoring striker: Jarrod Bowen. We had a lot more chances, but chances don't win games. Give Bowen 2 chances and he'll score a goal; give Onuachu 4 and he won't. Playing a season in the Premier League without a goalscoring striker means you don't win games. We created so many chances today, it was frustrating to see we had nobody capable of finishing them, but I guess we already knew that.. [Post edited 26 Dec 19:44]
