The Chris Martin rumour seems to rumble on. As others have probably already said, being almost immobile he would not fit into the Cifuentes style. He wouldn't be able to press quickly enough for a start. His aerial and hold up play aren't needed enough to warrant his coming back, particularly given the team's lack of ability to play accurate long balls, crosses and corners. |  | | |

Thanks for the info Konk. We are beyond the beggars can't be choosers point I fear. We are at the beggars who can't afford to choose stage.
He still has a better scoring rate than Armstrong and Kelman combined but in this situation, where to be fair we need a miracle, a low scoring young forward is not going to get us out of what we are in and I doubt we can afford him, unless he works for soft drinks and Mars bars. |  |

The typical QPR thing would be to lash out some wages on another player, loan out 3, and find ourselves staying up by the skin of our teeth. If we're going to do things differently now, there's something to be said about saying no to new faces and keeping the squad the same unless we have leavers. |
