Well, I wouldn't say he's lying. I have no idea. But he has said no loans and he has said that he'd only bring in players who'd improve the First XI. So you're right in that. |  |

There are five subs allowed now and so far two or three have been put on with 30 minutes to go.
Fresh players coming on of similar quality and above is key.
Injuries happen. We had so much experience of long term injuries to key players the bigger the squad and the more quality we have in reserve is key.
Last season the loss of two key players in Willock and Dieng destroyed our season.
I appreciate your words re Dozell, Field etc but what happens if they get injured, and the quality to replace is not there.
But yes believe five subs allowed changes things squad wise absolutely. |  |

Of course and we all know that we need a squad here. I am just picking on the quotes literally. If he says he is only signing starters then that means that Tim I will be a starter, which means one of Field, Dozzell or JoJo misses out. Two of the three of them are OUR development prospects and they need to be playing.
