Decision days ahead from June 1st onwards 13:27 - May 31 with 24798 views | KeithHaynes | Matt Grimes, looks likely bids will be received. Jay Fulton, has he done all he can at Swansea ? Jamal Lowe, retain or put in the shop window ? Jan Dhanda, there are a few suitors, let him leave ? The swans will almost certainly retain Ryan Bennett, Jake Bidwell, Joel Latibeaudiere, Ben Cabango, Conner Roberts, Korey Smith, Steven Benda, Ben Hamer, George Byers, Jordon Garrick, Morgan Whittaker, Liam Cullen, Ryan Manning. Oli Cooper, Brandon Cooper, Cameron Evans, Daniel Williams. ( Regards Roberts and Cabango, they need another Championship season for me ) Decisions to be made on Rushesha, Freeman, John, Webb, Gould, Mckay, Routledge Possible inclusion for 2021/22 season ? Al Hamadi, Govea. Loan players, consider them all gone. Out of contract Ayew, consider him gone. Any thoughts ? I’ll pin this thread and amend etc, for the immediate future

Decision day from tomorrow onwards on 16:42 - May 31 by KeithHaynes | They won’t let cooper leave because of the loss of income. They may say to him you are free to discuss with any club your immediate future and give him a deadline, but they won’t turn down the compensation in Coopers contract and then pay him off a year as well. Not a chance. He may well go, but he has a big heart for the club, either way I’m happy. |
You may be right but as I say,it would take courage and ,as our owners and club custodians are hardly blessed with such .

Still cooling their hands down after being burned by Arriola and Morris.

Don't be glum chum. It' s only opinion. Cullen has though had his career put on hold by Cooper and he is not alone in that regard so be cheerful.

I think Swans will suffer if SC leaves, I cannot see us getting another manager who could get this group into a po final, admittedly the final was disappointing but Brentford have invested and backed their manager and got the rewards, remember we were only one game away from the Prem. Without SC loan contacts I think we would really struggle, I think if we could have kept MGW we are in the prem. however if SC has seen all of the social media negativity he probably can’t wait to get the REMOVED out of Swansea. Whatever happpen thank you Steve Cooper for an exciting season. Ps posters be careful what you wish for, look what happened to Stoke after the fans demanded exciting football rather than being pragmatic.

Decision day from tomorrow onwards on 18:27 - May 31 with 1904 views | Dr_Winston | Sorting the managerial situation out is the first course of action. Pointless moving players in or out until we know what's happening there. There's a number of players unsuited to Cooperball who may well shine under any replacement thus leaving us no need to replace them. We may actually start getting some use out of players like Whittaker too.

And where has pragmatism got us? In terms of his so-called playing style, the 'end justified the means' was the excuse. Yet there was no end - we're still in the Championship. Cooper has destroyed our identity over the last 2 years. He needs to go before he does any further damage.

Perhaps we can get our identity back when we are in league one? We lost our identity when the sellouts failed to back Laudrup and appointed Gary monk. We are not Swansalona any more and not likely to be again under these owners, I repeat my belief is SC knows how to get the best from a limited squad, and knows how to develop young talent look at Marc ghuel , grimes ,and Brewster .

Yeah just look at Brewster now... How much ownership investment did the passing sides of the past require? Have the owners demanded we lump it into channels?

Laudrup has not had any support for taking over any other club in Europe. He is used to making ridiculous demands and walking away when he does not get them. Birch wanted to bring back the Swansea way having witnessed the excellent work of Potter and apponted Swansea legend Leon Britton. Sadly Leon was not up to this task and walked. Swansea should appoint Angel Rangel to the team with the job of advising the Chairman/ some scouting and carrying the "holy scared baton" passed on by Sir Huw of Aberdulais who sadly fell on his excallibur on that cold foggy January night of the long knives. It got very foggy on the M62. One of the great nights of drama of this great club. Swansea city is pure theatre not a grim northern cotton town team. Cooper gave up and shook hands before the final whistle. Where was Bennett for a late all out assault? "Whats the point I am Premeir league anyway" perhaps? . Skysports thought 'London bound' Cooper 'showed class'. 5 to go. "Benno get stripped and cause havoc mate" where was it? [Post edited 31 May 2021 20:56]

Why should a club 90 minutes away from the premier league be looking to bring on an old school centre back on to try and nick a goal back?

I would try anything. Manchester utd won the European Cup in two mad minutes. Did Cooper do his best? I think not. Not a shot on target against deep defence. Bennett on Cabango up top. [Post edited 31 May 2021 21:08]

According to Wikipedia in league games the three have 2 goals between them with no wingers over about 130 games this season. Ollie Cooper played once and scored in the FA cup. Cooper is defensive and left him on the bench for moral support. Once Swansea went down 0-2 it was over and everyone knew it including Cooper. Smith scores once every 2.5 years. In a pass and move team this is absolutely no good at all. Smith was through with a one on one Barnsley in the biggest game of the season and choked. It should be automatic at his age. Under the pressure both Grimes and Fulton lost their cool. Grimes got away with it. Fulton ended the contest for the manager. [Post edited 1 Jun 2021 0:01]
