I was hoping to see OldJack at the centre of a brawl in the stands.
Was at the game, and remember this incident well. Certainly a dangerous tackle, but Savage, in his usual obnoxious way, had been provoking the opposition players and fans all game.
When Pintado was sent off the beaming smile on Savage's face made me sick, and wound up the Swansea fans, a lot of whom (well, the rowdy, drunken thug ones) I remember charging out of the ground at the end, adrenalined up and looking for a punch-up with similar-minded Derby fans.
I can barely remember that Kuqi bloke who scored the winner for us.
4 weeks later I met my current beloved, and chose to give up on attending so many away matches.
Happy days.
