Pets at Home store 11:30 - Jul 7 with 12269 views | Lord_Bony | Warra pelava. I only wanted to buy a shrimp for the bottom of my fish tank to help keep it clean. I was in a rush with people waiting in the car outside. It took 20 minutes for them to get the shrimp and I had to wait for someone to come with a questionnaire.it cost £3. I was then grilled for several minutes with questions such as... How many fish are in the tank? What fish are they? How long have you had them? What is the water capacity of the tank? Will you be taking the shrimp home immediateley?Etc. Name, address, phone number, email feck me it went on and on... I told the assistant I'm buying a shrimp not adopting a dog for life ffs. After all that the shrimp seems to have disappeared in the tank. Is all this political correctness really necessary? I mean we eat shrimps by the bucket load. I've a good mind to write to my M.P.

Same thing happenened we were interrogated, then we were refused. To say I was tamping was an understatement, we eventually got one from the plaice off Carmarthen Road no problems at all. I know it's all about animal welfare and all that but FFS, shrimps and goldfish

Pets at Home store on 14:55 - Jul 7 with 5581 views | E20Jack | We eat cows and pigs by the million too. Incredibly intelligent animals. Some cultures eat dogs by the million. Needlessly killing loads of them anyway isn’t reason that they should not have any protection in place for them while being purchased. I guess the people who get refused them are living proof of the exact reason for the pre checks. Although it is a highly hypocritical approach considering it is essentially legalised slavey by breeding these beings to then sell. But that’s the world we live in. Be kind to all beings would be my advice.

Good, they should be applauded. For every 1 experienced fish owner they may irk, they may hinder another 10 inexperienced ones that would possibly end up harming the animals due to lack of care. There would be nothing said if it was a dog, yet a fish and people think that it doesn’t matter how they are treated.

Culture doesn’t dictate morality though does it. So it doesn’t make a difference. Animal neglect and cruelty is wrong regardless of species.

Pets at Home store on 18:02 - Jul 7 with 5210 views | TheFranchise | They get a lot of returns for dead fish, the form protects them from refunds because they'll ask for a water sample when you take a dead one back. A friend used to work there. I've never found their fish to be that hardy, the one on Carmarthen road in the old post office is much better.

They're required to promote animal wellfare. The trouble is they haven't got a clue, hence these stupid questionnaires that the Saturday job person looking at them won't be able to judge. For example, it's perfectly possible to to setup a tank and add fish to it in the same day. Aquarium companies do it all the time for trade shows. You have to know what you're doing of course, but these professional people would be refused service by Pets at Home. They're really not very good.

That was my response too. Not all of them are £1 goldfish and if they die after a day or so you might consider it.
Pets at Home store on 20:01 - Jul 7 with 5123 views | cmajack | Went to leekes in cross hands 18 months ago to purchase a very large clock mirror costing £200. Gave my wife the money to pay while i loaded it into the car. After 5 minutes and still no sign of my wife i went back in the store to find her. She was still at the till and waiting for someone to authorise the payment because we had paid over £100 and it was in cash. Unbelievable but absolutely true. Morons
