I like the team, Carroll is better coming on when legs are tired. Although I know I’m jumping on the Anti Naughton bandwagon here, I worry for him against Arnautovic, he needs to up his game considerably for this one. vdH played right back in a back four for us.
The game Narsingh played on the right (when Roberts was on the left) was a weird lopsided formation where Luciano didn't have to do any defending. It was, again, more of a back four with Narsingh high up on the wing. Not something we could get away with in an important league game.
Dyer hasn't played wingback. Carlos seems to fancy him as a supporting wide striker. | | | |
