Wembley tickets on sale tomorrow (Thursday) on 14:27 - Feb 21 by Daley_Lama | 1 Adult ST holder can buy 2 adult tickets 2 Adult ST holders can buy 4 adult tickets You can only do the family package however if both mum and dad are season ticket holders and you are then only allowed to buy 1 adult season ticket rather than 2. |
But Concessions i.e. seniors who pay exactly the same for a season ticket as adult season tickets holders can only buy two concessions and cannot upgrade one ticket to a full adult. Absolutely crazy.
Wembley tickets on sale tomorrow (Thursday) on 18:03 - Feb 21 with 3370 views | Laveritty | Somewhat surprised by these restrictions - does anybody honestly think we will come anywhere close to selling 7,500 tickets even at those bargain prices? This for a club that, on average, takes what, between 200 and 500 fans to southern away games at weekends? This is taking place on a Wednesday night and I just can't see that many people being able to get the time off work/school! Factor in the attractive nature of the tie and the cheap tickets and, at a push I imagine we might be able to increase that 10 fold but 7,500? Really? That said, I would love to be proved wrong and see so many Dale fans attending the game but I really can't see it! Also why have they, in effect, penalised working people by only having the ticket office open on days when we can't make it? Then, as if that wasn't bad enough, when the weekend comes around it looks like I will be spending most of it on the phone! Come on Team Rochdale - lets have a bit of common sense and at least offer late night and or Saturday/Sunday ticket office openings to enable us to get our tickets in person!

Wembley tickets on sale tomorrow (Thursday) on 18:23 - Feb 21 with 3316 views | OxDale | I'm afraid I'm in the disgruntled camp. As an exile, it is going to be hard to get tickets in the 'Dale section, without seriously inconveniencing local friends, again. The phone system is woefully inadequate as demonstrated by the first game. No online sales is pathetic. General sale of Spurs tickets starts on Friday afternoon with no restrictions. That's looking like a very attractive option!

Wembley tickets on sale tomorrow (Thursday) on 21:57 - Feb 21 with 3166 views | CockneyDale | Agree with the variety of issues people have raised. We are a group of probably five: part season ticket, part Exile. We will be split into three, with one person on their own. I think demand has been overestimated: we will definitely not sell 7500 as the club will be unable to process the sheer number of transactions required in the timeframe available. I reckon about 3000 transactions over 5.5 days. With only ST in person for first two days, that puts an almighty strain on the rest of the time: I doubt a phone operator could handle more than 15 transactions an hour. I’ve written to the Trust to see if they can raise the issues more formally. For those concerned with phone bills - use this number â€01706 644648‬

I thought about it from the club's perspective like this: We have been given 7,500 tickets to allocate. The club want to sell them all - they don't care who too. Demand is expected to be big. Take out the players their families and general other "comps" that get given out for games like this and I think at the end of that there will be around 7,200 to go to fans. We've offered 2 per season ticket holder and with 2,000 season ticket holders that's roughly 4,000. That leaves 3,200 for general sale on a 2 per person principle - 1600 transactions. All ok so far. The problem now comes with the HOW we have chosen to sell them. Season ticket holders now get first dibs and a priority window of three days - no arguments there. But you have to go to Rochdale in person or to phone up. That's crazy. It rules out: * Anyone who is working on Thursday or Friday and can't get to the club * Anyone who is not Rochdale based or it is uneconomic to get to the club * Anyone who can't get to the club or phone up for reasons of disability On Saturday - the day we play Wigan (a) there is going to be an almighty deluge of phone calls and visits from the 2,000 ST holders who can't get there on Thursday and Friday to reserve tickets. Any tickets ordered over the phone either by ST holders or General Sale get collected at Wembley anyway - so there is no problem in putting them aside with the right names on. With the thought, you could get some of those ST transactions done tomorrow and Friday and take the pressure off Saturday. After that priority period, it is a general sale. Again fair enough. But the 2 per person raises issues that there is going to have to group (say a family of 4) who want to go and sit together but can't. And if you get two as a ST holder and two on General Sale you are guaranteed not to be sat together. 1600 transactions in 3 days is doable - four phone operators doing 10 ticket sales of two tickets an hour for eight hours covers it. And of course, there will be the Spotland queues which mean that the telesales number isn't anywhere near as big as that. It's a massive allocation own goal that was avoidable. I hope the club tomorrow rethink and reflect that they can allocate tickets to season ticket holders in two ways on Thursday, Friday and Saturday: 1) In person 2) Via telephone General sale then likewise. IF (and I don't know) there are more than 3,200 left for general sale then up the allocation to 4 per person on general sale. That's 900 families and we won't take that many. As someone posted elsewhere, there is the option for Dale fans who want to sit together to ensure that they register for the Spurs site and get tickets in an unrestricted general sale on Friday. Spurs don't expect to sell their home end out. It would be a real shame if our fans had to resort to that, on what is arguably the biggest night in the club's history in 110 years but if you want to sit together then you might be forced to.

The people who make these decisions will never have to worry about queuing in snow, whether they are sat with their families and friends. It couldn't be simpler. Adults are £10, everyone else, kids, OAP's and concessions are £5. They have already announced that. I have 1 season ticket (adult) 1 U-16, 2 x junior. Given the time/location of the fixture, the juniors are not travelling, but I cannot buy tickets tomorrow, except for my own and U-16, despite having takers for the other tickets to which I am entitled as a season ticket holder. I enquired tonight at the ticket office about purchasing them, (tomorow) and because they are not for the named person on the ticket, I will only be able to buy them when they go on open sale. A complete farce. What's wrong with just selling me two adult tickets at £10 and the remainder at £5, based on my ownership of eeason tickets. This club makes supporting them as difficult as they possibly can. I was very tempted to say, stuff it, I'll watch it on the television and save myself and friends a total of £205. ( 5 coach fares and 5 tickets). I was also told tonight of a man and his two young sons who attended the Spurs match and paid £95 per head for the hospitality pre-match meal. No concessionary prices were available for the two young sons (both aged under 11). That's £285 for the 3 of them, before drinks etc.... The kids were served chicken nuggets and chips !! £95 a head for that !! Daylight robbery. That's 3 more customers that won't be returning, I should think. Making money is one thing, ripping people off is not acceptable - ever. Get your act together and stop alienating people. These are the people who actually DO turn up. Why should others line up to be fleeced. ? [Post edited 21 Feb 2018 23:44]

Feelings are strong here. There has to be structure but this is out fifth (?) ticketed FA Cup game in two seasons and the oddest setup. The club would be minded to listen. Spurs vs Newport saw 38,947 attend. 7,500 Newport so 31,447 Spurs. Crucially 12,053 empty seats. It's on the TV so Spurs fans don't have to turn out. If your a ST holder forgoing your right to priority to sit together that's still 1 person to join the queue per 2 tickets. You can't bring a mate on telesales.

Wembley tickets on sale tomorrow (Thursday) on 07:46 - Feb 22 with 2818 views | funkkk | Hopefully next time we get to Wembley we get the ticket selling right. Third time lucky! I won’t be attending the game for a host of reasons already discussed. The club obviously aren’t arsed if I’m there or not and I’m still reeling from spending £38 on the phone to them last week.

The allocation is 15% of 51,000, which is 7,650. The tickets will be sold block by block, starting from behind the goal, so the best seats at half way will be the last to go if we sell that many. Club cannot/will not challenge this. There is hospitality available at, I think £149, which includes a one course meal (one option being fish & chips) The reason the club office is not open on Saturday is that the office staff have not had a day off for 2 weeks. There are 20 coaches booked, with options for more. One coach last night had almost sold out.

Poor from the club again, for what is simple logistics - but unfortunately something that is just par for the course supporting Rochdale at the moment. Changes need to happen, before any more fans become alienated.

Being filled form the middle, outwards towards the goal. Club have no discretion about that. Someone just asked for seats behind the goal and were told not possible. You get what comes. Suppose you could always swap if someone is willing to oblige...

I got this completely wrong. Selling from the best seats towards the corner. If we sell all 7500 the last ones will end up behind the goal. [Post edited 22 Feb 2018 10:59]
