Stone Roses New Track 20:23 - May 12 with 4363 viewsPhaedrus

On spotify now. Sounds like it would fit right on on the Seahorses album

And what is good Phaedrus, and what is not good. Need we ask anyone to tell us these things?

Was loving this last night. Loads of people saying it sounds like the Seahorses and saying it in a negative way. Squire's sound is a bit more like that but who cares? I think it's a very good comeback. Lyrics are a bit safe and not too clever but it looks like it could be a proper anthem.

It's just brilliant to finally have them back! They won't beat their first record so just enjoy it for what it is.

It's here for those that haven't heard it:

Genetically, paedophiles have more genes in common with crabs than they do with you and me. Now that is scientific fact. There's no real evidence for it, but it is scientific fact.

6.5/10 - lyrically weak. But Squire's guitar and Reni's drums sound superb.

Hope to hear some more new stuff in the next month or so!

I like it.

Considering going down to Madison Square Garden to watch them at the end of June, mostly because I can't believe they're playing it, even though every live performance is a complete abortion.

I like it. Never been a Roses fan but got a CD of Love Spreads which I thinks brilliant. It is a good single. All the best ones have an immediate appeal and lots of thieving goes on. It reminds me of the Beatles. 'I want to tell you' off Revolver.
Will keep tabs on this and I may get the album. Vinyl if course ;-)
