Break pads 21:44 - May 10 with 3205 viewstreboethjack

Pretty sure my pads are on the way out, anyone got an idea of how much Im looking at to have them replaced around Briton Ferry and/or Neath in general? Thinking of doing the front ones for now, how much roughly for parts + labour and would I save much by ordering the parts and just paying for fitting?

cheers!

The fitting is he expensive bit, brake pads and discs for a lot of cars are reasonably priced.

Have a look at eurocarparts.com, type your reg in and it will give you different pricing options for the parts you select.

Add a couple of hours garage labour at say £100 total and there's your benchmark to work towards.

Ive looked them up on there, looking at 16-25 per pad, Im curious whether I'd save much by buying them myself.

You might save a few quid that the garage would add as a handling charge / mark up. On the flip side you've got the minor hassle factor of ordering parts etc.

Get them done in Halfords Autocentre. Slightly dearer, but the "Brakes for Life" (your life, not the car) means you you get subsequent sets free.
Well worth the drive down to Llansamlet
