Bolton move off the bottom, despite a last minute equaliser for QPR. That late goal was good news for the 6 who had this spot-on. Nobody got the outcome.
BRENTFORD 1 DERBY 3
Derby score three goals in the last ten minutes, as they came from behind, to end an eight-game winless run. Nobody had this spot-on, but the third goal came with the last kick of the game, and foiled the 7 who had Derby to win 2-1. Just the 1 point for them, and the 5 others who got the outcome.
MK DONS 0 BRISTOL CITY 2
Two goals from Kodija helps Bristol City move eight points above the relegation zone. Again nobody got this spot-on, but 3 did have the outcome.
PRESTON 1 SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY 0
A single goal is enough for Preston to beat 10-man Sheffield Wednesday. Just the 2 had this spot-on, and 5 got the outcome.
BURY 5 COLCHESTER 2
Bury came from two goals down to thrash embarrassing 10-man U's. Not surprisingly nobody got this spot-on, though ColuKev did predict Bury to score five. Just the 1 point for that brave effort, and for the other 14 who had the outcome.
WALSALL 1 WIGAN 2
A goal in added time wins it for Wigan, as they move into the automatic promotion places. That late winner was bad news for the 7 who predicted a 1-1 draw, but good news for the four who had this spot-on. There were also 7 who got the outcome.
An interesting week with three of the games having decisive goals in added time, and two others influenced by sending-offs. Sometimes it goes to show what a fine line there is between getting a 3 pointer, and ending with nothing, and vice versa. There was a good example of that this week. After ninety minutes Tropical_Us had just the one point to show for his efforts, but the late goals for QPR and Wigan, means he is the only one to end up with two spot-on, and he is this weeks top scorer, with what turned out to be a good 7 points.
In the Premier, Gate16 maintains a 7 point lead, but it is now ethicsgirl who is his nearest challenger, an she continued her good recent form. Further down the league mfb_cufc makes it into the top half, for the first time this season. Though still remains in the relegation dog fight, that looks like going to the final games of the season.
In Division One, the downturn in form for burnsieespana continues, and he has now only taken 6 points from the last 28 games. Despite that he is still clinging on to the top spot. For most it is the lack of 3 pointers holding them back. In the case of jonestones, it is lack of 1 point outcomes keeping him off the top, as he has more 3 pointers than anybody in both leagues, and only one member has less other outcomes than him. It is that high number of 3 pointers that is keeping in the other automatic spot, as he joined by Tropical_Us, following his top scoring effort. Up another two places into fourth is durham_exile, as he shows a lot more fighting spirit than his beloved U's.
