Why does it take Shearer to come out and say what is blatantly obvious to all of us for yonks for it receive some media attention? linos in particular seem to be miles behind what is actually happening, the giner one yesterday was bleeding awful missed a few blatant offsides.
Credit where it's due is giving a great performance in reffing. Just can't help wondering if he was in charge on Saturday if things would've been different
after looking at the online box office it looks like tonights game is nearly sold out, oddly enough the areas with the most tickets available are the members areas. i wonder whether this is donw to an influx in tourists or if its just a few members that have had a gutfull.
What do people make of this? The sentiment seems to be right, however, from what I understand this ruling will probably not affect the premier league teams. Isnt the this likely to set up the leagues below the PL as a feeder system and widen the gap between the smaller clubs and the big ones.
Ive recently finished reading the damned united and watched the film a couple of times now and Im not quite sure to make of him to be honest. His record speaks for itself, but although I can remember him as a manager I was too young to understand what he was like as a personality really. The closest thing my generation have to him is alex ferguson who i thought was a right twunt that often bullied his way to success. Clough on the other hand although arrogant seemed like a man of integrity. I was wondering what the older generations thought of him, whehther he was disliked like ferguson for example.
this documentary gives a little insight to him as a personality i reckon
Ever since they devised the plans for the centre the FA have been droning about how this is going to revolutionise english football yada yada yada. Everytime I see the place on SSN its being used by foreign teams! It was Mainz today, Bucharest last week etc. Are they renting it for the week? or do they get to use it for free, it might as well be free as our national league is already nurturing and honing forein talent.
Awful captaincy and equally abismal form, as it stands england can't afford both lack of leadership and runs. God knows who can replace him at this point but he's not cutting the mustard
If this yellow card is overturned FIFA might as well just come out and say that they will do all they can to hand Brazil the world cup. the fact that they are even considering overturning the yellow card is bonkers, its not even like it was awarded in error. I know you expect the hosts so get the rub of the green, but i do feel that brazil have had their fair share of "assistance" so far.
are supposed to be illegal so why hasnt it been enforced by the referees, i find it creates an unfair advantage to the penalty taker (neymar in particular). you could see the referees telling the goalkeepers to stay on their line etc but nothing was mentioned to those taking pens.
With all of this talk about about the english players leaving southampton I wonder how they will perform next season. I do wonder why these players go for the money and arent just content with playing week in week out> I worry that after all of the good performances the likes of llalana and shaw have put in last season theyll end up going backwards as theyll warm the bench like rodwell, sinclair, richards etc
just looking through the fixture list again, december looks like itll be our hardest/most important month yet Bpool Bburn Forest and Watford, all teams snapping at our heels, lets hope our injuries dont come all at once, if we were to avoided losses in all of these and pick up a couple of wins i reckon we would inflict some significant damage on our promotion rivals.
Although we had similar before the last euros now toure is contemplating a boycott of 2018 wc, its seems that both of the choices of venues after brazil are proving less than popular with some. it wouldnt surprise me if this competiton fizzles out after the pigs ear that is yet to be made by fifa http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24660581
Just been listening to the droos on talksport, some of the calls are interesting though. People we saying fans stormed directors box, tried to get in players lobby, fans waited for players outside the ground, fans argueing with SWP etc anyone on here witness any of this. I had the impression the majority of supporters werent pro active enough in showing their discontent with the current state of affairs
