Lewis Wing signing will be announced very shortly. Personally I think it’s a very good signing. He’s eager, can score goals and he is hardy. Will want to prove he’s championship level not cry off like a lot of over hyped pampered players. Good work GA and staff.

Apparently having a medical at Bristol City today. Talks of around £1m. I know he’s struggled but that is not a great amount. Hopefully have a % sell on clause just in case he finds some form. |

I realise I may get a few pelters for this but it’s true.
Look at Luton v Sunderland last night in the play off.
Luton 37% possession win the game 2 - 0 tbf quite comfortably.
They had more total shots 16 - 11
More on target 5 - 1
Committed more fouls 12 - 9
Had more corners 7 - 5
Yet nearly 200 less completed passes 283 - 479.
Proof if needed that hard work, solid grit and determination can and more often than the purists would like to admit does result in winning football matches.
You need a certain type of player to achieve this and yes it’s usually the teams with the lighter budgets who adopt these tactics but does that make them less of a player.
So called flair players can sometimes lack the drive, the mentality and the total commitment required to get you out of a situation.
Going 1 -0 down with these type of players normally results in a defeat. However with the more industrial type of player they have the belief and hunger to get back into these games and dig themselves out.
Look at some of our video training clips for example. And these are only short clips.
Certain players strutting around, posing, giving it large. These same players who give so little on a match day if it doesn’t go to plan from the outset. The same players constantly talking behind their hands giving out side eye.
No club in our position can afford to have too many of these types around.
One or two yes maybe as you certainly do need match winners as well, however any more and that’s where you see the little cliques appearing trying to disrupt.
Maybe as GA has stated this week that it is time for a reset and a realisation of where QPR actually sit right now.
But give me results over substance any day of the week.
I wonder who the happier supporters are this morning Luton or Sunderland

I’ve been a staunch defender of the GA appointment but for whatever reason and I’m sure there are lots of them,it just hasn’t happened for him at his beloved QPR.
I’m afraid we are going down into L1 next season.
Even up until Saturday I was sure we would get a win or two.
However the players for whatever reason have decided to down tools for the best part of 2023.
Is that all down to GA obviously not however he really has not helped himself in the last three weeks with the shocking results at Blackpool and then Wigan.
I’m not sure what the future holds for him when we go down, will the club stick until October to see where he can take us.
However with Lg1 becoming a mini championship over the last 5/10 years I fear it will be a long time before QPR will regain Championship status.
I would like to see him given the chance but I’m not sure he will.
Sometimes things just don’t happen for you and it certainly hasn’t for GA.

All the manager’s on here will no doubt slate his style as not being in the QPR way to which I’m perplexed as to what that actually is. QPR are hardly the Barca of English football.
But for whatever reason his tenure thus far has been a shitshow.
I hope so badly that I’m wrong and we can somehow miraculously avoid relegation. |

Massive dilemma.
Give up my ticket for Coventry or Give up my ticket for Aintree.
Veering towards skipping Aintree as I want to be at LR to cheer the boys on.
However if results go against us again I’m going to be fcked off that I missed the day out at Aintree, which is always a great day.
If only the boys could guarantee the same effort from Monday it would be a no brainer but can they be trusted.
I’m usually a positive person but this is just what these gits have done to me.
Ideally I stay loyal, watch the boys get a great result against Coventry then on the way home hear that my pick for the National has romped in by 10 lengths.

Don’t know whether it’s a good thing or not to be showcasing the talents on offer at LR atm. However for those who are not going today put your feet up relax with a cold one or two and watch a fluid team performance and cheer the boys on from the discomfort sorry comfort of your armchairs. Not sure it will be a completely enjoyable experience but stranger things have happened.
The only positive I’ve taken from this week is that it’s only been 4 days rather than the obligatory 5 to get myself wound up and in a positive frame of mind for the weekend ahead.
How lovely would it be to be celebrating a victory and 3 points and almost safety at 4.55 this afternoon.

We all come on here because we care, we care about the club, we care about wtf is happening right now. We don’t directly pay the bills however we do chip in both financially and more importantly emotionally. I say this because the players historically except for the few legends etc most really couldn’t give a flying fck who they play for or how they behave as long as they are getting plenty of money and adulation for their massive ego’s.
What I want to know is how can you steal a living from your employer and not expect some form of repercussions. I would be so embarrassed if I failed to do my job to certain standards and I know full well my clients wouldn’t pay me or recommend my company if I continually failed.
Then we are told how great they are and how they are trying.
Well excuse me but if certain individuals were trying on Tuesday and yesterday then they should be sacked immediately for gross negligence. Standing around waving your arms about pretending to care doesn’t wash with most seasoned supporters. The midfield are non existent. Doesn’t matter if that’s your preferred position or not you can still put some effort in.
When I played ,not professionally but to a very high non league standard for a number of years I tried. The players around me tried. The ex professionals who were on the decline still tried and put the effort in. Those who went on to play professionally did so because they bloody tried week in week out, not because they were better than others but maybe they worked just a few percent more than the rest.
I watch games and I’m astounded at the lack of quality. For instance how can any team who are up against roughly the same level not produce more than 2 very tame efforts on target. Not allowing for the shitshow on Tuesday. I’m sorry but it’s really not difficult to get the ball out wide get bodies in and around the box and get a decent cross in. That is basic training that every club does. Yet fail to even try to do it on a match day. I just don’t understand the lack of effort from most of the players. Are they not bright enough to do as their boss asks, do they think they know better as they maybe feel untouchable.
I hate ranting on and I’ve probably waffled a bit but we as investors in the club want more, forget all the protection of certain individuals.
If they can’t, won’t or are not capable then please do the best thing and get them out of this club.
No more free rides ffs. Better off getting so called less talented players in but who give you blood,sweat and tears for a sustained period of time not just one game against Watford.
No more celebrating like we’ve won the champions league ala Watford until we can prove we are giving 100% every minute of every game.

Got to admit I found the back slapping lap of honour a bit embarrassing on Saturday. Yes it was great to see a battling performance and to get the win but players on their knees screaming in delight like they’d just won the league was way over the top at this stage.
Tonight has proved that to be the case as nobody can come away tonight with credit. As bad as the defence was the midfield was a f ing embarrassment not one of them ran a leg.
I felt for Drewe as he’s a young lad learning his trade and he was left completely isolated on every attack. It must have felt like the Alamo for him.
Tbh if we went to work and performed like they have we wouldn’t have a job for much longer.
I’m shocked at their lack of application and effort.
One thing for sure if GA doesn’t get rid of at least 30-40% of them they will get him sacked.
He will know that and I’m sure there will be many changes but if you have no money and FFP to worry about then it’s going to be very difficult.
I’m sure relegation will be avoided but you cannot run a club like this.
If you sell your assets and dwindle your costs down you are heading for disaster.
You have to produce gems to sell to help balance the books. That has clearly not happened and those in charge of development should be looked at.
Qpr are in a great logistical position to attract some of the finest kids. Why on earth are we missing out.
Look how Valencia in La liga are unravelling this season after years of mismanagement and selling all bar one of their home grown talent they are now in huge danger of relegation.
I can see us taking the same route unless drastic action is taken.
Maybe just maybe this could end up being a positive result, in a weird way a watershed moment for many at the club but mainly for GA & RD.

What a result yesterday. Great typical battling GA team performance. What you get from the Gaffer is 100% commitment from not just the starting 11 but the whole squad including his coaching team. If not it will be the highway.
Look at yesterday, the skipper was benched, did he sulk and show disdain no he didn’t he came on and gave his all. Chris Martin was straight over to give his captain the armband. A great touch from him.
They got on with the job and at the end were all together in showing what it meant to them.
GA said he needs to find who’s with him and who’s not. He will get rid of any problem attitudes and unearth some talent be that from within or from the loans market.
It takes time something which he was given in bundles at WW and look how far that got them.I just hope he’s afforded that same luxury here.
It won’t always be what some deem to be the QPR way but you adapt to what you have got at your disposal. First and foremost effort and bloody hard work. Look what it meant to GA and his coaching staff yesterday, that’s what he gives. You could see in the days leading up to yesterday how hard he’s been working by the strain on his face in one of the interviews. Let’s hope the team can now back it up on Tuesday with another gritty performance and come away with some kind of result.
Opposition players and managers like to moan about playing against GA’s team as they get in your face, have great time management ( shithousery) skills and are generally horrible to play against.
That’s what we want LR to be like it was yesterday. Absolutely rocking.

Just seen the odds for the Watford game and I cannot actually believe the odds. We are a shade under 7/4 while Watford are a shade under 13/8. Surely they should be evens or shorter even to the outsiders looking in. Never mind those with inside knowledge of the squad etc. While I wouldn’t like to back Watford as I don’t want to see us lose, surely it’s like printing money. Not sure the odds compiler has read this one that well. Unless he knows more than we do regarding the injuries |
