I like it there, the people weren't that friendly from memory and this was a common theme on trip adviser too.
What ruined it for me was we went all inclusive and it wasn't great. first and last Ai holiday.
I remember the island being small, we took a bus tour and saw it all in one day.
They still have a Popeye film set which is now an amusement park, they like to go on about it.

Hi, purchased a pompey ticket this morning, got the confirmation email, but there is no attachment to it. And when I go to click to add to my Apple wallet, there is no link. It’s just a graphic of the Apple wallet icon. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve emailed the box office, if I don’t hear shortly, I will give them a call.

I love it up there, id happily retire somewhere there in 20 years. I keep meaning to just drive up again for long weekends. The Cairngorms were spectacular.
I found the locals friendly too except in Edinburgh. my partner at the time was American so I just made her order our food and they were fine.
I went mid august and no issue with Midges, even at an airBnB where we has a big pond outside it was fine. but ive heard horror stories |

I heading to Texas againon 31st Oct, I used sky scanner and found the same flight that AA wanted £920 for, for £825. It took me to another site, they’re like a broker and it all seemed legit but I didn’t risk it. I thought if rather pay the £95 extra and be safe booking direct. But sky scanner seems legit |

I disagree with you RE atmosphere. You do get the loud boos from the 'home' crowd when the away team is on 3rd down... but it's not as loud as a real 'home' game.
People are up and down all the time, happened in Dallas 3 weeks ago when I was there. its also got worse at cricket, people used to wait till the end of the over before they moved out of their seat. I think it's just a society thing.
I love the London games and have been every year, but 3 weeks back to back is too much. We always pick one game now.
Jags need a rest or go play in Germany. They aren't moving to London anytime soon like what was mentioned, not when theyve invested so much in their stadium and potentially getting a new one.
Roger Goodell (the commissioner) mentioned Saturday, that the season will be 18 games soon (from 17) and they want an overseas international game every week! spread out all over the world |

6 of us went to the Spurs game today, one of my mates is a bears fan so I’m pleased I they won for him. But we all agreed, we are done with the Jacksonville Jaguars now. Not spending any money watching them again over here. I hope they don’t come back for a few more years, but I’m not sure what kind of deal they have signed with Wembley.
Was tempted to go to the game next weekend at Wembley, but I can’t face seeing them. Sorry Boston, otherwise I’d have bought you a beer! |

You could pick up a ticket for £90 versus Sri Lanka at Lords, I’m not saying that’s cheap, but over 6 hours that only works out of £15 an hour |

Before Burrows INT, they were 3 points ahead, in Ravens territory, they could've even run the clock out by being smart. 3mins left or whatever. worst case was settling for a FG, 6 point lead and leaving us with 30 seconds with 0 timeouts. wild game |

Aha I forgot about the England game. We are heading to Bodeans and they always show red zone. We booked to go to the one on Poland Street, we do it every year.
We tend to leave at the two minute warning if the game is done. That way it’s a half an hour walk to 7 sisters and you get straight on the tube. If you leave any later, you can be queueing for an hour for the tube and you might not make much of the England game. |

Anybody going to the London games? First game this Sunday, Jets at Vikings. Me and some mates are going to jags at Bears in a weeks time. Always a great day out, superb stadium and then dinner at Bodeans afterwards for some Kansas City barbecue |
