Now the can’t even get their own ticketing info correct
at 13:03 24 Mar 2025

Have a holiday Nick, are you seriously suggesting that the ticket office are a separate entity and Sports Republic’s so called “management” have no control over them ?

Now the can’t even get their own ticketing info correct
at 17:39 21 Mar 2025

This morning I received an email telling me that as a season ticket holder I could purchase two additional tickets at a discounted price for the upcoming Fulham fixture.

This afternoon I received an email telling me that pricing information in this morning’s email was incorrect and that tickets can only be purchased at the standard rate.

I don’t want additional tickets at any price, but honestly is there anything now left that Sports Republic can’t mess up ?

Ross Stewart, what’s wrong this time ?
at 12:13 21 Mar 2025

The Sunderland Echo and The Scotsman both reporting further injury problems.

I’ve every sympathy with the guy but hasn’t the time come to accept that his football career is over and seek an insurance payment for him ?

Alternatively, does the club just wait until his contract expires and continue to pay him in the meantime ?

Ivan Juric Positioning Himself To Continue In Southampton Job

If he stays and we start next season with him in charge the Club won’t just need to restrict opening days for the shop. Season ticket sales will be so low they will need to close it completely.

Which numbskull on the board wanted Juric as boss?
at 08:07 17 Mar 2025

The whole lot of them gather in the Boardroom and the Club’s ceremonial tombola machine (also used to pick the team on match days) is brought out.

Names of applicants on separate pieces of paper are entered into the machine, it’s spun and a cleaner is blindfolded and he/she draws out the name of our next manager.

The Board members then congratulate themselves in once again having avoided all responsibility for the way our club is run. Doubles all round then follow.

A man from the era when we had some quality players, unlike the dross that Sports Republic present to us to watch nowadays.

Rinse and repeat failure, Henderson and Rashford in the England squad again.

No, but I can blame him for doing what every manager since 1966 has done.

Rinse and repeat with has beens ( Henderson) and a player( Rashford ) who gives every indication of not wanting to play football at all.

In an ideal world I would like them both to lose.

Henderson 34 years old and past it.

Rashford couldn’t give a monkeys for Manure, only has a few decent games off the bench for Villa yet walks back in.

Not difficult to see why we haven’t won a major competition for 58 years is it.

Can’t help but think that there won’t be very much touting next season when we are mid table in The Championship.

Come on Pat, don’t you understand that fans don’t come to watch games anymore ?

Their sole purpose in the eyes of Sports Republic is for them to visit the St Mary’s theme park and donate large sums of money buying hideously over priced food and drink.

Former Saints Striker Could Be Coming Home !

To be honest Nick I’m not certain what your question actually was. If you repeat it for me I’ll give a reply my best shot.

Reference your suggestion that he has not missed anymore games than the average player, I venture to suggest that if you are correct it’s because he spends most of his time warming West Ham’s bench.

This season has been an unmitigated disaster. The summer will be an opportunity to wipe the slate clean and start afresh. You don’t do that by employing a 33 year old injury prone has been.

Nick, honestly how many examples do you want ?

1. Relegated from the Premier League twice in three years.

2. Employed more hopeless managers than any other club that I can think of.

3. Wasted £ millions by purchasing any number of Championship standard journey men.

4. Totally unable or unwilling to communicate with their fan base except when they want to extract money from us.

5. Can’t even put out a competitive team in a Fourth round F A cup tie at home to Burnley.

Ings always was injury prone as a young player and I very much doubt the situation has improved now he is 33 years old.

Probably only paper talk but if not, it’s just another example of Sports Republics detachment from reality.

Ings is a 33 year old injury prone has been, much in the same vain as Llanna.

Interestingly Tesla shares dropped 8% today amid the Trump tariff nonsense, something which must have irritated Mr Musk somewhat I imagine.

I suspect there may well be many Tesla dealership owners tonight who will be having a sleepless night concerned at Musk’s brand being heavily associated with grifters like Trump and vice president Vance.

In the UK and Europe in particular, buying and owning a Tesla may possibly quickly become rather unfashionable ?

Never any doubt of Liverpool victory as ref makes debut at Anfield.
at 17:38 8 Mar 2025

1. Liverpool player given yellow card instead of red for hacking Walker Peters early doors.

2. Smallbone has minor contact with Liverpool player at 1-1, penalty for Liverpool.

3. Sugar has tussle with Liverpool player, ball touches hand, another penalty for Liverpool.

Premiership football isn’t corrupt though is it ?

“ Judge a man by the company he keeps” or perhaps “ If you lie with dogs expect to get fleas”.

Either would make a good slogan for their party and M Ps.

“ I do find it odd that the reasons for this war are so well understood and accepted within academia”

Joiedevivre, for the benefit of the uninitiated ( myself included ) perhaps you can spare the time to elaborate further by explaining exactly the reasons, acceptance and understanding to which you refer ?
