My issue with our "one song" is that every other team seem to have nicked it, particularly Spurs, but now it's turning up everywhere! |

But so far they seem to be getting their signings correct unlike our powers that be! |

Let's see them do a Leicester! |
| Forum Reply | Leicester City at 20:15 14 Jan 2025
Absolutely right but the fact that they could have 2 relegations in 3 years so soon after those recent glory years must be a real pi55er for them. We've sort of expected it with the last 5 years or so we've had! |

“A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play” (LOTG 11.2) Or surely "interfering with play" ie - blocking the keepers view of the ball or something. But I can see where Sledger is coming from. In that particular instance I would have said it was offside cos I believe he was when the ball was initially kicked despite McGuire getting in the way? |

Particularly if they should brag or take the pi55 in any way with our current predicament forgetting that they were nothing but a little 4th division club not thay long ago. And yes, I am envious of their current position and ownership and would hate it if they were to actually get this so called 20k capacity stadium with them thinking they'll be challenging for the Champions League or whatever. Just the thought of them getting in to the European Conference League upsets me Still, Chelsea are 1 up against them at the moment so maybe that'll lighten the load! |

It is definitely generational, and I'd guarantee if the poster had to put their own name to the written word they'd run a mile A lot of them though I'd guess like to use it as a tool to get some sort of kudos amongst |

We've driven up on the day (for 3pm ko, crack of dawn leaving) before as well as fly on the day but you have to have a night with the "views" in the bars on a cold winter night by the side of the Tyne!! |

He did play well and I don't think there's been too much negativity towards him (well not for Sunday's performance), but he's not Prem standard which is what really counts for us right now There is also talk of him moving so is he playing his balls out looking for a decent move? Let's see what happens at Manure on Thursday - if he's picked! |

Valid point re Luton, althoigh they were just living a dream last season. We should be targeting Prem stability - if only! |

"FA Cup history, won it in 76" ..... some history Attendance 12,000 (and something?) With 50,000 capacity! |

So do I assume from below that Brentford should be more embarrassed than us as that would be more of a shock than us losing? I'm not blaming RM now, I think we've well established it's that the players are not of Prem quality. What I was saying was that Brentford's stats were as we used to be under RM with higher possession and everything else and lost the game! So the benefit of possession football is what? |
