Thread | Pubs in Ealing

Fellow Loftforworders. I'm going drinking with friends in Ealing on Easter Saturday. I haven't lived in Ealing since 2001, when I lived just off South Ealing Road. All my locals were The Castle, The New Inn, Red Lion etc. One of the people we're meeting is coming by train and has mobility issues, so I'm looking for good pub suggestions close to Ealing Broadway Station. I can only come up with the North Star, which my wife thinks is a bit rough. (I must take her in the White Horse one day). Any recommendations would be appreciated, ideally within a five minute walk. Right,
I think I'm losing my marbles. I have a distinct memory of Roy Wegerle scoring the winning goal for Chelsea against us in the late 80's at Stamford Bridge. I've googled it and can't find any record of it. Have I just imagined this? Maybe he just set up a goal against us. I have particularly dour memories of our away games at chelsea at that time. Thread | Party wall agreements - advice needed

Thrilling subject I know, but I also know what a wide range of knowledge we have on this board. My neighbour has been granted planning permission for a 3m extension on his house. We already have one which was built prior to us moving in, but his will apparently be digging below and near to our foundations, and removing a chimney breast from his side. He's now served us a letter giving us the options, which are basically let him crack on, get an agreed condition document, refuse the notice and get his surveyor to do a party wall agreement for both of us, or appoint our own surveyor to get an agreement.
I have absolutely no issues with what they want to do building wise, I just want to protect my own interests and property. Any advice on what I should do would be greatly appreciated. Google hasn't really helped me |

Quick request. May have to drive today. Any ideas on where there's on street parking relatively near the ground. Don't usually drive on a Saturday. Used to park in Becklow Gardens, but think that's restricted on a Saturday now. Don't mind a 15 - 20 minute walk. Cheers |

My cousin has two free tickets for tomorrow in South Africa Road. He doesn't need them as he has a season ticket. Free to first person to ask. All he asks is a donation to QPR trust.

Under 21 side at Hampton and Richmond Borough. Harriman, Balanta, Doughty, Hitchcock all played first half. Second half eleven different players, missed the line up as in the bar so haven't a clue who played. The right winger was electric and two good goals from free kicks. 10 minute walk to the ground and cobra £3.60 a pint. Enjoyable night that I haven't seen mentioned elsewhere.
