Comments like this? “Ultra group leader of ‘the 1885’ has no interest in what other fans think, it’s all about their little group”.
If you think the banners look shit then the Markus flag (although great sentiment) was abysmal!
What’s weird proto ultra about it, loads of English clubs have big banners, or is it just some of the lettering/font? Remember the club have said the final design may be subject to slight change, so just wait and see the final result eh!
Go to any ground and you’ll find small groups who tend to dictate the songs that get going, 1885 is just a more organised version that can hopefully get/keep the support going when the team need us!
So many great things happening at the club right now, embrace the change! |

Why would you now start attacking the 1885?
It’s just a banner FFS, it’ll look great and is just one of the many new things being introduced to improve the whole match day experience, specifically in the Northam as the club stated.
If every fan had a say on these sorts of things it would just become a talking shop where very little ever got done. Im glad the club seem to be ignoring the nay sayers, nimbys and general negative pessimism. |

The club have stated the final banners may be subject to design changes.
Maybe that suggests there’s going to be more than one chosen and they’ll tweak things following feedback. |

No, that’s the Match experience!
Match day experience for some starts when they leave home, or get to a city centre pub, or get to the stadium and finishes again at various different times/locations!
The club are trying to provide an improved offering that encourages fans to spend more of their match day time and money at the stadium itself. That in my opinion is a good thing, if you disagree then that’s fine too as you can just turn up watch the match and leave! |

Fries/chips are always a rip off for what you get!
The burgers, wraps etc from those external kiosks are very nice, certainly not cheap (nor extortionate) but very tasty.
I’ve had the rose cider which was either from a can or bottle, again very nice. I’m sure with the extra kiosks next season there’ll be more choice and hopefully quality.
It’s already certainly better than a few years ago and still improving. |

I’m not convinced it’s quite that high yet.
When looking at the seats available on Thursday, at a rough guess there were about 3-4k to choose from.
So i’m thinking its somewhere toward 25k but could reach 26k once they finish with the limited availability to members.
But yes, fantastic numbers/support 👏 |
