Don't see why you should feel uncomfortable at getting a free pass to the event. You turn up, what's more you turn up (relatively) sober - which has been an issue at past events. You add great value in the reporting-back you do. You deserve an invitation.
I think the club is genuinely trying to broaden out the attendance - I do believe that fans who want to go, and keep an eye out on the communications from the club, are able to go. |
