Bless her. What a voice and what great music she was a part of.

Here’s something from her later years and I’ll be forever grateful to the friend that gifted me the album it is on. For those of us of a certain vintage, you would need a heart of stone not to blub when the backing vocals of a certain someone kick in at the end.

Anyone else at his gig in St Albans last night? He name checked Rangers, bizarrely enough, in the introduction to a song. Said he wrote it with a former Soft Boys (IIRC) drummer “who is a big QPR fan”.
I think there was one muted, embarrassed cheer - I was too shocked to even manage that.
Cheered me up at least as I’d only checked the score on my phone about 10 mins before.
